Bottle from het Biermoment, batch #Y17B004, BB 15/02/2018, 33 cl sample. Hazy dark brown color, medium rocky head. Aroma of earthy and piney hop, dark roast and unlike other black IPA/IPLs also a touch of sweet toffee and butterscotch. Dry roasty bitterness, slight sweet fruity candy and a bit of powdery coffee. Dry in the finish. Decent, but not perfectly balanced. anstei (2846) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - MAY 10, 2017

33cl bottle at home. Pours a dark mahogany brown colpur with an off white, almost beige, head which slowly recedes to a thick layer and leaves a fair amount of lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, passion fruit, liquorice, hop resin, pineapple. Taste moderately sweet, fairly bitter with a nice dry finish. Notes of caramel, roasted malt, resin, yeast, citrus. oily to watery, medium bodied with moderate carbonation Abijen (2572) - ’s-Hertogenbosch, NETHERLANDS - APR 27, 2017

Ruikt heerlijk maar passievrucht. Smaakt hoppig, bitter en ook gebrande mout. Gekke combi maar wel lekker. kraddel (9543) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - APR 26, 2017
Pours dark, dark brown/black. Good and stable, bit darker head. Smell is intense! green hp notes, even though its not overly hoppy, as well as the dark malts. giving a certain metallic, sharp aspect. fairly complex. Taste is fairly bitter, dark malts, with a sharp, malty, somewhat bitter ending. The fruits are very hidden. Wouldn’t taste them blindly. ashy, dark malts prevent them from rising up, but if one truly seeks them out, they might be recognizable. Nice
