Black color, tan head with good retention, some lacing. Aroma with a good presence of roasted malts notes, some smoky, ashes, presence of coffee beans. Flavor is slightly bittery, roasty, high coffee and black chocolate presence. Roasty final, dense mouthfeel.

Piana drobna , kremowa trwała, zdobi szkło. Kolor czarny. Aromat ciemne słody, wędzonka torfowa, średnio intensywny przyjemny. Smak, gorzka czekolada, kawa, paloność z nutami kwaskowymi, pełnia z lekką owocową słodyczą, delikatne wędzenie torfowe. Alkohol ukryty, w strukturze gładkie, mocno pijalne. Bardzo Dobre.

Bottle split at Cotts Convention III, thanks to an unknown raker, 20/05/17. Extremely dark mhaogany brown with a decent beige head. Nose is light smoke, burnt toffee, brown sugar, cocoa rub, dark fruits. Taste comprises spice, tangy dark fruits, molasses, chocolate, dates, dried fruits. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying clsoe. Adequate impy stout.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 03/01/2022, batch Y16B0026. Brune/noire, col épais blanc-cassé café au lait. Arôme au nez malté, rétro chocolaté, grillé plus un petit effet de fruits noirs. Palais est malté, grillé, chocolaté, café avec un caractère alcool se faisant bien présent. Note rappelant la mélasse, malt crystal au fini légèrement épicé. Retrouve aussi qcq pointes de fruits noirs.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2018 Dark colour, medium brown head with long of tiny bubbles. Medium retention, compact lace. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, licorice, raisins, vanilla. Medium body, creamy sweet texture, great carbonation. Smokey coffee finish. Taste of coffee, milk chocolate, raisins, vanilla, licorice. Really good stuff here

Bottle shared at Cotteridge wines, Cotteridge Convention III 20/05/2017. Many thanks! A mahogany brown coloured pour with a loose tan head. Aroma is big phenolic, medicinal note, smoke, brown bread. Flavour is composed o fbrown sugars, phneolic smoked malts, TCP, earthy roast. Paalte is medium sweet, moderate carboantion, full bodied.

Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een diep donkerbruin biet met een bruinig schuim. De geur is gebrande koffie en chocolade. De smaak is vol, gebrand en chocolade.

Aus der Flasche im 2017-12 getrunken. Diese ImperialStout hat ein überraschend leichten Körper was es zum Einen sehr süffig macht aber auch ein recht schwachen Abgang beschehrt. Die anfängliche Kaffeenote hat was von Robustabohnen, die ich nicht so mag. Später tritt diese Note in den Hintergrund und eine deutliche Kakaonote kommt hervor. Ein schönes süffiges IStout.

Zwart bier zonder schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en ietwat rokig met iets van gebrande noten, zwarte kofie en karamel. Is een erg goede stout maar ik heb betere gehad.
