Bitterbill (2079) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 18, 2017
From Jan 2007
Poured from 12oz bottle a hazy medium gold with a large head of foam that hangs around for the entire session as a solid layer with lots of lacing.
The smell has a nice strong air of caramel malt.
The taste is big on the caramel malt up front with a nice hop bitterness in the background that balances the sweetness nicely.
I can also taste some graininess in between that adds some good complexity to this Pale Ale. The finish is on the bitter side and invites one to enjoy another sip. Good stuff.
Bottom line: A very nice APA that fits the style well. I recommend it.
Thanks to Wasatch for another sample of brews from Utah!

Can: Poured a copper brown with a beige head. Aroma was sweet malts. Taste is leafy and malts, sweet but watery. Shot (576) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - JAN 14, 2017
Can. Pours a hazy copper-gold with a two-inch off-white head that leaves a sticky lacing on the glass. Aromas of sweet malt, a bit of toffee, and floral hops. Flavors of toffee, cut grass, biscuit, and citrus. Finishes with fresh bread and a muted hop presence. Clean mouthfeel. A nice, understated pale ale. Not bold and assertive. Can’t complain about this. cheap (6293) - CHINA - OCT 28, 2016
Bottle. Copper clear color. Aroma of mild dull IPA and the taste follows. Yes the taste is like older IPA. Good old blunt hops. Finish is old bitter rainwater water from an outdoor bucket. There, you have it. mansquito (7379) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JUL 17, 2016
Somewhere: pours orange with white head. Aroma is bread and resin and hints of citrus. Taste is lightly bitter. Kind of sweet and caramely. Lots of resin. Not bad.

"a little more assertive in the aroma than Cutthroat Pale. Still a little thin and one dimensional on the palate. Overall, a little grass and citrus and biscuit malt. average." TickerTerryDJ (647) - Redditch, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 26, 2013
355ml bottle from Beers Of Europe.Poured a copper orange pour with a decent sized whitish head which was fairly stable.Caramel malt aroma with citrus and fruit in there too along with a subtle pine hint too.In the taste the citrus comes through stronger with bread, malt and pine a little more in the background.Quite tasty. ads135 (5287) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUL 28, 2012
An okay Pale Ale but nothing special. Decent balance of some citrus hops with a caramel flavor. Medium bodied, medium appeal. madmitch76 (27126) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 4, 2012

Slightly hazy amber beer. Palate is just the crisp side of neutral. A minerally spritzy start with a hint of aniseed. Marmaladey hops. Finishes with more minerals and a hint of hop bitterness. Not bad.
Originally reviewed: 2/1/09. Pours a dark orange with an inch-sized head. Retains fairly well, and leaves some webbing. No lacing rings present. Smells really citrusy and hoppy! This smells like an IPA in every way. Some piney scents touched with a slighty honey sweetness.
Nice crisp bitter bite right at the onset on this one. Some bready maltiness is present, but pushed out of the way by the big hop presence. I dig this. This is a great representation of my kind of APA! I wish I could get this locally.
