Bottle marked as bottled on 3/29/2012. Pours with a crystal clear pink hued body with a large and lasting white-pink colored head. Aromas are lightly of sulfur when cold, some mineral qualities. As it warms, a very light funk, large cherry aromas, medium esters, dried fruit and a bit of a peach like ester. Flavors are mildly tart, a bit of wet dog, sweet cherries, pie cherries, bready malt, some caramel. Mild lactic acid. Tangy sweet and sour dichotomy. Medium tartness, light cherry tannin. Lively bubbles with a medium to thin body with some carbonation. Oddly syrupy texture on the tongue at times. Pretty lifeless to be honest. Towards the end of the bottle I tried blending it with a earthier/funkier Pinot and that seemed to improve the character. Not entirely sure exactly what Uinta was aiming for with this one. keepersj12 (3143) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - APR 26, 2012
To me this is a fruit beer. The pour is amber with a red hue. The head is bubbly and pink. The aroma has a bunch of cherries and some wheat. The flavor is quite sour indeed with a lot of cherries. The finish is dry and refreshing. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - APR 22, 2012
Reddish pour, whitish head. Aroma of cherries, pie crust, light tartness, apples, yeast. Flavor is lightly tart, but not really sour, some cherries, yeast, green apple...just ok. DocLock (11236) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 20, 2012
750 CC from Capone’s, Craft, and Blue Dog Lansdale. Pours hazy pinkish copper with 2-finger off-pink head. Nose is earthy tart cherry, some hops. Bottle picked up at SL... Darker red in color, poured aggresive but not much head. Nose of some sour/tart cherries. Taste is a nice little sour... Tart, cherries, little saw-dust...With a little sweetness... Wish it was more complex but still very drinkable... Medium body... Overall: Doubt I would buy it again but glad i tried it.

750mL c&c thanks to Travlr. Pours a hazy, bright pink with diminishing white foam. Doughy nose with odd phenolics and oxidation. Taste is mildly tangy with big mealy apple and powdery mouthfeel. Slicker body with odd paper and carbon In the palate. Feels like eating an old apple.

Bottle courtesy of travlr. Pours a red orange, slightly hazy with a fluffy tab head. Light cherry aroma aroma on top of some earthy funk. Maybe a touch of butter. Nice cherry flavor with moderate tartness. A bit of bready yeasty funk. Drinks pretty smooth and easy. Travlr (26948) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - APR 13, 2012
Bottle. Hazy pinkish red color, large fluffy pink head that settles quickly. Aroma is subtle and understated cherries, lemons, strawberries. Taste is softly sour lemon, strawberry, cherry. Straightforward. Not bad. 5000 (6900) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAR 27, 2012
Bottle:   Pours a pinkish hue, in the glass its a definite rosey like amber, very soft pinkish hued head, large and sudsy, with spotty lacing.   Very faint cherry pie like filling on the nose.   Otherwise its a tart sweetness that I also smell.   Doesn’t seem like a big beer from here.   Tart and dry on the tongue, clean, a little bit of tart cherries make up the background.   This is not your puckering Wild/Sour Ale.   Its much more subtle than that.   Its a moderate Wild/Sour Ale.   Clean, tart, with some unripened like cherry aspects.   I was expecting a bigger beer, but as is its clean and refreshing.   Would get a higher rating if it was a bit more fruity and tart, but still enjoyable. boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 19, 2012
UPDATED: MAR 28, 2012 Bottle @ The BeerMongers... Poured clear, vibrant red with a nice size head forming. Looked like fruit juice. Great cherry flavor, black cherry, cherry skins. Quite sweet too. A little bit of yeast funk. Not overly sour but could have potential with extra bottle aging. Clean, nice drinking beer.
