Ruby-copper, clear, pink-tinged head. Aroma: moderate earthy/dusty funk, subtle natural cherry character, underlying grainy malt. Flavor: grainy-sweet pilsner malt, restrained sourness, some earthy funk, subtle cherry notes, lightly sour acidity in finish. Very drinkable restrained sour with nice cherry character.

Bottle (03/20/12) at Eulogy. Cloudy orange-red pour with some slight foam on top. Has the strong taste of sour cherries. Feels quite a bit musty (not necessarily a bad thing) as if dust and cobwebs are included. Mandarin orange slices. Thankfully much more sour than sweet. Not overly complex but feels refreshingly honest and unfiltered.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2012 Pours a clear, yet robust Blood Orange color with a champagne like head that dissipates quickly to sturdy ring. The nose is complex - sour, dry cherry, tart, dusty with hints of wood, florals and some pale malt. The taste is all about cherry, but not overwhelmingly so. It starts out with tart cherry and light oak. Slightly sweet grain notes come next and transition into a finish full of florals and tannins.

The mouthfeel is light to medium, dry yet somehow juicy, sour but not puckering. The 5.7% abv is hardly noticeable, making it both quaffable and quenchable.

750ml C&C bottle picked up at the brewery

Appearance: Clear red/pink with a medium sized pink head and some lacing

Aroma: Slightly tart cherries and oak

Taste: Slightly tart cherries, vanilla and woody

A nice mellow drinking beer, more fruity than sour.

Bottle courtesy of travlr. Pours a red orange, slightly hazy with a fluffy tab head. Light cherry aroma aroma on top of some earthy funk. Maybe a touch of butter. Nice cherry flavor with moderate tartness. A bit of bready yeasty funk. Drinks pretty smooth and easy.

Bottle picked up at SL... Darker red in color, poured aggresive but not much head. Nose of some sour/tart cherries. Taste is a nice little sour... Tart, cherries, little saw-dust...With a little sweetness... Wish it was more complex but still very drinkable... Medium body... Overall: Doubt I would buy it again but glad i tried it.
