Bottle. Pours a reddish amber with almost no head. I get no cherry smell in the nose, and no cherry in the taste either. Nice and sour with a hint of fruitiness. Very easy drink, actually. unclemattie (4406) - Georgia, USA - OCT 21, 2012
750mL bottle, caged & corked. $21.99, Weinhaus, Asheville. Pink color, white foam. Aroma of sweet malts, tart cherry essence, and wild yeast tartness. Lively carbonation. Mild flavor. Tastes of fizzy wheat, some juice essence, very light berry character. Very light bodied, crisp & refreshing. A very thirst-quenching finish. There is a slight taste of cork hidden in the end. Tasty. Very subtle sweetness, I don’t see any benefit of letting this one age. Some dryness may add character, although I think its great fresh. (3496)

Happy 2nd Birthday, unclemattie jr.
Poured into a snifter.
3.0 A: Well hazed amber cherry color. Two and a half fingers of foamy off-white head. Retention is about average, but no lacing is left behind.
3.0 S: This is quite strange. It smells like cherry flavored Sprite. Beyond that there is oak and light tannins, lemon and lime (which contribute to the Sprite), phenolic cherry, and berries. Some light, musty funk and some balancing sweetness.
3.0 T: The taste is much like the nose. It tastes a bit like Sprite too. Lemon and lime, followed by cherry and berry. Oak, faint vanilla, and mild tannic astringency. Hints of clove. Musty basement funk with dry-rotten wood and apple orchard. It’s not bad, but it’s not a very good sour, which I think is what they were going for.
3.5 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. There’s a bit of spritz to it, but it could be more so. Smooth though.
3.0 D: It’s easy to drink, but it isn’t impressive in the least.

Bottle: The aroma consists of mild sour cherry, grain, and a hint of lemon. It pours a transparent amber with a pinkish-white head. The flavor starts with a quick dose of mild lemon. The finish has mild sour cherry with a touch of grain. It’s light bodied with somewhat lively carbonation. emacgee (4707) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - OCT 5, 2012
Clean soft orange/red gold pour with creamy off-white head and pinkish hues. Tart nose, nice acidity, and lightly funky notes. Ephemeral cherry flesh and almond pits. Tart/sour cherry pie with a light funk. 1 dimensional. Light bodied with a sour/puckering finish.

Pink, rose pour with a pinkish head. Aroma is tart, cherry notes, but not overwhelming. A bit fruity. Flavor is also tart with some fruit sweetness. Good beer. Not a lot of depth, but tasty. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - AUG 28, 2012
750, corked and baled. Pours a hazy rubied garnet with very little foam at the rim but lots of rising nucleation columns. Tart underdeveloped pie cherry notes on the nose as well as the palate, with a fairly flabby body. It’s pleasant, but needs a lot more presence in both the body and the flavor. anders37 (27062) - Malmö, SWEDEN - AUG 26, 2012
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy reddish color with a small white head. Has a fruity sour cherry aroma. Fruity sour cherry flavor. Has a fruity malty sour cherry finish. dwyerpg (6413) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - AUG 23, 2012
Didn’t get much in the way of aroma, but a decent pink color. I thought this was pretty tasty. Not real sour or funky, but enough to balance the sweetness. Almost that a starter version of a sour. Enjoyable. RumRunner101 (918) - Alberta, CANADA - AUG 21, 2012
Pours pink with a bubbly white head. Aroma is cherries, cereals - tart and sweet. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, medium sour. Flavour is sour cherries, some light malt backing. Fairly one dimensional. The finish is sour and something seems kind of off, maybe too acidic. The beer is okay until the finish.
