COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Detour blazes the trail for fresh and bold Double IPAs. Four varieties of hops combine to step up the flavor profile. A hoppy adventure that finishes dry. Big in alcohol and character. Venture to pair with other spirited flavors such as those found in spicy ethnic foods.

Cloudy, brown colour, creamy white head. Hoppy aroma, some fruit and some caramel as well. Taste is very malty with some bitter hops, bitter finish. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, medium carbonation. It’s alright but nothing special.

Sensation : Corps moyen-mince, effervescence plutôt faible, finale longue.

Brown with orange highlights. Hazy with a creamy head. Heavy on the caramel. Big body and some spicy hop flavors like pepper and sage. Woody finish.

Tap @ Pub Kultainen Apina.
Pours clear orange color with a small lasting head, leaves a nice lacing. Lots of tropical fruits on the nose, resinous hops, pine, subtle malts and sweet caramel. Flavor is sweet with mango, orange and some passion fruits, resinous hoppy bitterness, malty, very subtle hints of licorice on the aftertaste. Hop-oily mouthfeel. Alcohol warms a bit on the finish at first, starts to push through more towards the end. Balanced and quite deceptive fruity DIPA. Good.

Serving: from bottle at Pel Meni Dumpling Tzar. Aroma: heavy pine hop. Appearance: average-sized, frothy, off-white, initial head with fair lacing and mostly diminishing longevity. Cloudy, medium-amber body. Taste: lightly bitter initial flavor and moderately sweet finish with long duration. Palate: heavy body, syrupy texture and soft carbonation. Overall: great appearance and aroma. Interesting flavor.

Pours a slightly hazy dark golden with clingy top of white. Aroma is tropical fruits and mild malt. Flavor brings out a large presence of mango and other similar fruits. A bitter bite accompanies the whole sip. Finish is dry and lingering. Looks and smells better than than the drinking.

Can at the Lincoln Wine Bar. Nice clean IPA. It’s been one of my go-to beers at the LWB the last few times.
