This DIPA will change what you may think about Utah. Not only did the aroma scream "take me home and tell me you love me," but the flavor followed up with "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!" I’d never had a beer open up and be so honest with me. Huge hop, citrus aroma, combined with sweet fruit/malt profile. Taste provided unexpected strawberry and caramel notes. If you get the opportunity to take this seraph home, don’t stutter! And for god’s sake, take your time with her. leomannion (4) - California, USA - JAN 22, 2012 does not count
This has an all around greatness to it. To open it sucks but its a little treasure once you do get it opened.. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - AUG 4, 2012
Wow. Just, wow. Pours very clear and dark amber with a thick head. Great hoppy nose to it with similar hoppiness in the taste. Super easy drink that is also super tasty. dwyerpg (6187) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - OCT 9, 2010
What a gorgeous hoppy fruity aroma. Nice orange color-full creamy head. The flavor is that of a solid DIPA, plenty of hops, a little creamy. this is an excellent beer. drpimento (3639) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 15, 2011
This is one of the best beers of this sityle that I’ve ever had and, coincidently, from this brewery, another earth shaking beer. Poured with a large, foamy, frothy, cream colored head, that very slowly settles down, and some lace. Color is a crystal clear dark amber. Flavor is an incredibley well balance of bitter, sweet, & tang. Finish is like flavor and extremely drinkable.

Malt and fresh hops on the nose. Slight citrus and piney. Thick creamy head. Golden and clear. Malt on the start. Some caramel backbone with a long clean bitter finish. Slight sweetness on the palate with some earthy notes. Warming alcohol on the back end. SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - JUN 11, 2014
Pours dark orange with a medium sized beige head. Smells strongly of citrus and tropical fruits. Taste is sweet fruity with a balanced, complimentary bitterness. Full-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Uinta Detour Double India Pale Ale finishes with a lingering citrus bitterness. Braudog (6716) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUN 25, 2011
Caged/corked. What a beauty ... towering foam atop a picture-perfect amber-colored beer. The aroma, too, is almost sexually charged -- full of nice, round piney resin. Beautifully balanced, this beer is sublime ... rich with woodsy hop character, yet easy to drink. The richness of this beer is artfully subdued, like a perfectly constructed beauty. Well done, Uinta!! This is why I became a beer geek. (#4145, 6/25/2011) halfonit (1366) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 14, 2012
on tap at Battleship. Pours a murky deep golden color. Big head. Aroma is of caramel, hops, citrus, and lactic. Flavor is similar. Great sweet boozy hop finish. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 22, 2013
