Not too much barrel. For sure a solid beer. Again maybe not the style most suitable for barrel aging.

Not quite a Baltic, very significant chocolate and significant roast. Some hop in finish. A tad thin but very good drinkability.

"Solid brew as are most of this crooked line. Barrel faint at first especially in the nose but it opens up well. Only fault is a little prickliness and slight overcarbonation. Dark fruits, roasted malt and barrel are well balanced and tasty. Nothing is really quite a 9, but there are a couple 8.5s so there ya go."

Draft. Light chocolate malt aroma. Brown-black with small head. Very sweet chocolate syrup and malt flavor. Okay but a bit cloying.
