Nearly black in color with a light brown head. Im getting lots of plums, prunes, molasses, chocolate, roast, charred wood, asphalt, raisins, and a touch of smoke. Not bad, not amazing.

2015-08-26. Back body with a small tan head. 3+ Aroma of dusty dry malt, light roast and herbal notes. Flavour is interesting, dark malt, light herbal licorice touch, moderate dusty dark malt. Average plus bodied palate, good carbonation. Solid but the base malt is not quite rich enough for my taste today. Bottle cellared several months from Ye Old Spirit Shop, Frederick, MD.

Overheard: "What’s a snozzcumber, exactly?"
"snozzBERRY... not cucumber."

Bottle @ home picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a deep brown appearance with a dark brown head. Really a nice bourbon, vanilla oaky, light coconut, sweet dark chocolate aroma. Initially, there’s some fruity notes that are then surpassed by dark chocolate, roasty malts, mild bourbon, light woody flavor with a bit sweet, chocolate finish. The bourbon is tame but nice. One of my favorite offerings from Uinta thus far.

750 ml bottle from Dutch’s. Pours a dark brown to black color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma and flavor have soy, an almost briny note, roasted malt, ash, powdery chocolate, dark fruit and only a mild kick from thebbarrel. I almost forgot that it was barrel aged. Good, but not great.

DuffMan (10610) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 17, 2013
On tap @ Public House in Vegas. Very dark brown with mahogany highlights. Meaty broth malty nose with seductive bourbon sweetness. The palate opens sweeter than expected, given the nose: vanilla, light smoke, sweet figs, molasses, bread crusts. Made me pay attention in a good way! Awesome!

3.7
marcus (10584) - Sacramento, California, USA - JAN 20, 2013
Bottle from Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours near black with a massive tan head and a treacle aroma. There is a dark molasses and bitter chocolate flavor with some anise and a dry finish.

phaleslu (10553) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 25, 2014
Draft at Keystone - Clifton. Pours a deep coffee brown with a finger of tan head that leaves heavy spots of lace. Aroma of milk chocolate, dust, oak, vanilla, fudge, and toast. Some booze as it warms. Flavor of chocolate, leaves, vanilla, earth, oak, roast, and booze that’s not clearly defined as bourbon. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Very subtle bourbon barrel influence.
