Bottle - had a tough time with cork on this one. Pours black with a huge mocha head. The aroma is smoky malt and bourbon. The taste adds oak, chocolate, and a sweet vanilla finish. There's also a very mild citrus hop note in the background. This is very complex. Medium body, marshmallow mouthfeel, and high carbonation. Wow - Uinta's crooked line series never disappoints!

Smak och doft choklad, kaffe, vanilj, söt laktris med rostade toner och aningar av trä och bourbon. Lagom sötma, rund och len, fadd med fin beska. Välbalanserad. abergdahl (177) - SWEDEN - NOV 23, 2014
Smells like a good porter should, some roasted notes, some hops..nice. It pours like it should as well, dark, black with a nice thick top that stays for quite a while.. The taste is full, again very much roast notes, a goo bitterness, not much alcohol, just a hint, a nice bloom with some hoppiness and chocolate , like it. Very full beer with a soft feel and long aftertaste..
Overall a good Porter!

Very dark brown beer with a huge three finger high, beigebrown head that leaves lacing on the glass.
Nose: Vanilla, oak, bourbon, coffee, whipped cream, honey, dark bread and roasted malt. It’s a complex, beatiful nose!
Taste: Coffee, roasted malt, smoke, bourbon, dried fruit, red berries, a hint of licorice, molasses, pine and caramel.
Body: Correct me if I’m wrong but I think a Baltic Porter should have almoust a "thin" body and that’s exacly what this beer has! Medium to light body with high carbonation. Beatiful complex texture. A little smokey feeling. Long, dry aftertaste with medium bitterness that works great with the sweet, malty taste. The ABV of 8% is very well hidden.
Beatiuful, outstanding beer! I’m absolutely in love!
Pours an opaque black with a foamy khaki head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Copious amount of lace left around the glass as it goes down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, cocoa, bourbon, and wood aromas. Taste is much the same with lots of bourbon, hints of dark fruit, and cocoa flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of roasty and woody bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer, certainly worth a try."

Very nice starter beer, pop this open then move to a growler of something not as refined. bhensonb (15336) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 15, 2013
750 c&c from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Cork print is "Earth, Wind and Beer". Pours a nice dark brown with a 4 finger creamy darkish tan head. Aroma of very smooth dark malt with very subtle, but strong, darkish fruit. I keep thinking bourbon, then I read the description. So. Bourbon. Full bodied. Flavor is very bourbon/vanilla with lots of dark fruit and something that makes me think of the old, dry gingerbread crackers. Meanwhile the head is collapsing into degenerate, random lacing. It’s not exactly dry, but the various flavors tend to hide the malty sweetness. OMFG. JTDC. My head is expanding exponentially. bluejacket74 (1993) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - JAN 20, 2013
750 ml caged and corked bottle, bottled on 12/04/12. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half frothy tan head that stayed around for a very long time. There’s also a good amount of lacing. The aroma is nice, it smells like dark fruit, roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate, wood, vanilla, and some coffee. It tastes like roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate, vanilla, coffee, burnt/charred malt, dark fruit, molasses and a bit of licorice. Nice balance between the sweet and bitter roasty flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s smooth and a bit creamy with good carbonation. I liked this brew a lot, I think I’ll have to pick up another bottle soon. $11.99 a bottle. beeripedia (5) - warwick, Rhode Island, USA - FEB 5, 2013 does not count
750 bottle poured at home with a thick creamy tan head. Great smooth and silky mouthfeel that coats my whole mouth with flavor. Bittersweet chocolate and coffee with hints very subtle vanilla and coffee. A very light bourbon finish. Great beer. Ibrew2or3 (8660) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - FEB 17, 2013
Bottle pours with a deep mahogany body that supports a mocha looking head of foam. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, burnt malts, some earthy maltiness and faint dark fruity esters off in the background. The taste is rich inviting goodness coming from the likes of dark roasted malts to burnt malts and then moving into chocolate and earthy malt goodness. This is just rich and deep and fudge brownie yum. I get faint sweet dark fruity esters echoing away far off in the distance. Yummers!
