Nice bohemian pils aroma. Pours golden yellow. Stong but nicely balanced with a sweet start and a nice bitter dry finish. Overall a nice version of a classic style maniac (3800) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 2, 2011
On tap at Capital Ale House - Downtown on 11/05/2010. Very clear golden body with a medium frothy white head. Sweet pilsner malt and spicy hop aroma with some caramel. Big pilsner malt flavor with some caramel on a spicy hop background. Medium full body with moderate carbonation.

Bottle. This taste like a really good malt liquor... if there are such beers. Spices and alcohol in a saison vs. vodka kind of way. Nah... more interesting than good/enjoyable. finol (3422) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 25, 2011

750ml bottle, corked n’ caged, from Sam’s Quik Stop in Durham, NC. Pours a mostly clear bright golden color with a one-finger white head and some lacing. Pretty nice aroma, standard for a pilsner but amped up a bit, with sweet maltiness and a grassy hop character to it. Good pilsner malt on the flavor with grassy hops and not too much alcohol, hiding the 9% very well. Medium-plus bodied and somewhat syrupy - but not overly so - on the mouthfeel. Pretty enjoyable overall. Underrated a little if you ask me.

Tasted on 2/16/11 from a 750mL corked and caged bottle purchased at Lush West Town. Pours clear golden-orange with a thick white head that slowly recedes to thin, even lace and a lace collar that is a little thicker. The nose is very fruity with zesty tangerine and somewhat tropical with mango along with traditional pilsner malt, spicy noble hops, and a hint of dill. The flavor is more straightforward pilsner with the malt and spicy noble hops taking the forefront, and the fruit still present, but very much underlying. The body is medium with a somewhat oily texture, lively carbonation, and a long nutty pilsner malt and spicy hops finish. Dorwart (2595) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - FEB 13, 2011
About a 1 inch thick head of fine and dense bubbles but is a bit sloppy on top. Very cloudy brew. Much more cloudy than I expected. Strange aroma! Peach syrup, fruit nectar, wet dog, soft and sweet malts. Color is a golden orange. Rather thick and malty flavor. Lots of sweet malts, ripe fruit, a hint of spicy hops and some corn? Very thick and syrupy for a pilsner. Expected more of a lighter, crisper, more clear brew. OK but not really anything special. I can already feel the alcohol going to my head. A golden lager with a thin creamy off white head. In aroma, chalky smooth malt with light herbaceous notes. In mouth, a clean sweat grainy malt with light German hops, honey, not bad. Bottle at Boston Beer Summit, Jan. 15 2011. JohnnyMummbles (151) - Pitman, New Jersey, USA - FEB 6, 2011
Poured from 750ml bottla a very light golden with a large, thick, frothy, white head that laces very nicely around the glass. Aroma is of citrus, sweet malt, floral hops. Flavor is a very well balance of malty sweetness and bitter hops. ABV of 9% is concealed very well in this beer. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 30, 2011
(750ml, bottled 09/30/10, courtesy of blutt59) Pours a clear yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of grass, mustiness, and florals. Flavor of grass, florals, subtle pine, and light citrus with a dry, moderately bitter finish.
