bottle, thanks for pawola22 for the trade, clear yellow color with a sweet fatty malty fruit aroma, flavors of sweet candied citrus, malty finish patrickfannon (1242) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 25, 2011
Bottle. 25.4 oz. Split with my Dad and Uncle Mark to celebrate the life of my Mom-Mom. Pours a shimmery, bubbled copper with a one-finger, sturdy, lacy off-white head. Aroma of fresh pressed grapes, cut grass, banana, sweet corn, honey, and slight lemon zest. Medium to light bodied. The body is not very supportive, but the crisp, biting carbonation makes up for the thinness. Sweet, slightly bitter palate. Hints of grapes and hay in the flavor. Finishes with a sugary-sweet dryness, similar to ginger ale. Very cool style and an even cooler beer. Dixonian (1657) - Plano, Texas, USA - JAN 21, 2011
750ml bottle - thanks to bu11zeye. SuperDave (2555) - Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA - JAN 15, 2011
Pours golden yellow. Not much in the aroma department - slight saaz hop tinge. Metalic. I expected a lot more flavor out of an imperial pilsner. Disappointing.
Copper pour, white head. Lager yeast, earthy notes, white bread, very light hops. Flavor is lagery, yeasty, bready, light caramel. Not bad at all. IrishBoy (4237) - Bakersfield, California, USA - JAN 13, 2011
750 ml bottle from cbkschubert. Nose is light malty caramel with some light floral hopiness. Crystal clear yellow gold with a small pale yellow head. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter with caramel for the backbone.

Sweet nose of strong grassy hops, bready malts, fruity sweet notes as well. Pours golden, lightly chill hazy with a thin head. The flavor is grassy and peppery, bready and malty with sweetness that is definitely noticeable but not over the top. I actually thought it drank rather well for 9% though. Not the best but by far not the worst. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 10, 2011
Tap at Paradiso Georgetown. Pours a clear, deep yellow with a sheeting white head. Aroma of honey, malt, cherries, and sweet syrup. Taste is malty, boozy, spicy, with a palate that is powdery dry. But as this warms and I spend more time with it, the nose really devolves quite a bit. What was sweet with some oddities now smells like diabetic, sugar heavy urine; cherry powder, even a bit of poopy toilet. Something old and fusel in character is making itself known. Taste is trash malty, powder, flour, bland corn starch. Really just a definitive drain pour. Really just unenjoyable. Vile, gag-reflex on the palate. Bottle: Pours a light amber color with nice head. The nose is sweet and fruity with a strong lager and hop note. The body is big and sweet. A nice imperial pilsner but a bit too aleish and sweet. yngwie (17261) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 1, 2011
Bottle, 75cl, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, golden beer with a small, diminishing off-white head. Some cellary notes in the aroma, which is otherwise grainy and fruity. The flavor has some unclean notes, can’t really identify it. Alcohol, grains and fruity hops. Nice bitterness. Full-bodied and warming, finishing quite bitter. Some grainy, fruity flavors too. A decent one, but not a style a see any sensible use for. 100814 larsniclas (7234) - Billdal, SWEDEN - DEC 25, 2010

Malty and hoppy in both aroma and flavour.
Pretty sweet with low bitterness.
