Not bad at all and very drinkable. Excellent head retention. Bright golden yellow in color. Smells and tastes fresh. This is masterfully brewed to perfect balance of all components. SiKee (6) - Tewksbury, Massachusetts, USA - APR 12, 2014 does not count
Superb with BBQ meats. A lovely, creamy head and pleasant aftertaste. A nice treat!

Bomber. Recommended by Hop City but ratings here made us reluctant to get it out from the beer fridge. Looking for a good summer food pairing. Hop City was spot on because we really liked this one.Served with salmon burger and pasta salad Nice aroma. . Nice caramel malts, not particularly bitter hops. First taste reminiscent of a great ripe summer tomato. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 23, 2011
Hazy dark gold with good, creamy, white head / Musty nose of hay and wildflowers / Medium body, creamy and fat, hint of sweetness, with good balance and long, lightly bitter and hot, finish / Flavors of hay, grass, violets, resin, bread, and honey / I always struggle with these, as their massive nature contradicts the purpose of a pilsner. Given that, this is well done. poisoneddwarf (2511) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - FEB 23, 2013
750 ml corked and caged bottle. Bottled 1/4/13. Pours almost clear copper with a large off-white head with excellent retention; leaves behind decorative lacework. Aroma is doughy, lemony, biscuity, caramelly. Taste is lightly sweet before turning bitter mid-palate and remaining that way through the somewhat long finish. Has the nice bready flavor that I look for in this style, along with a strong hop counterpoint. Alcohol is noticeable, but it’s not boozy--always a plus. Has a creamy mouthfeel; fairly big body, soft carbonation. I like me a good Imperial Pils, and this is one.

Very nice strong lager. A bit on the stale side in terms of flavor and very aggressive alcohol decision, but on the whole, this is a good beer. Winchell brought this beer back to Lawrence with him from SLC in 2013. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - OCT 17, 2014
Enjoyably tasty. Not a lot of complexity here. Not overly carbonated. Heavy mouthfeel, cloyingly sweet malt flavor. But I enjoy it. ABV well hidden. hellbilly (3249) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - MAR 14, 2011
multiple bottles shortly after release in az.
rich straw yellow colored pour with a thick white head and lasting film.
big pils aroma along with notes of straw, lemon, grass and spiciness.
the flavor is the same... imperial pils! it is a touch on the sweet side (this disappears as it ages) but it is clean and dry on the finish. it is rich and lux with a nearly full body yet i could drink this all night.
(this pairs really well with an assorted cheese platter)8/4/8/4/17++ markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - OCT 14, 2010
Thanks IBrew2or3 for the share. Pours translucent yellow with a white head. Nose is corn, sweetness, white grape, and peach/ apricot with some slight bits of berry. Flavor is similar with corn, sugar, cotton candy, peach, berry, and all manner of insane sweetness. It would be terrible for BJCP, but I am a big fan. Caged/corked bottle. I love the label. Pours crystal clear, golden and bright, with a nice solid white head. The aroma is sweet but quite rich. This drinks with an interesting blend of warming alcohol and a sweet, fruity finish. Great example of how beers can break down boundaries of style and be just plain ol’ good. (#4126, 5/28/2011)
