Pours a three finger off-white head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Crystal clear amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Sweet grapefruit nose and flavor is grapefruit and caramel. Higher ABV is hidden. Worth trying. $8.49 for a caged and corked 750ml bottle from Hannaford’s Concord, NH. FugarwiNation (15) - North Logan, Utah, USA - MAY 22, 2012
Poured from a bottle, beer pours a wonderful clear golden color with a white head. Toasty aroma from the pils, the higher alcohol content is also apparent. the taste is a toasty, nutty malt, slightly sweet. Not my favorite from the very strong Uinta Crooked lineup. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUN 1, 2012
Pours a cloudy golden color. Really interesting... slightly hoppy and crisp with hints of citrus. Next to no head. A really interesting brew. wlajwl (7065) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JUL 22, 2012
Aroma is grainy malts and a hint of mustiness. The flavor is mild grain sweetness, citrus, hops and a lasting tartness in finish.
