Pours a golden amber color with a cream colored head. Biscuit, caramel, pine and light hop aroma. Caramel, pine, toffee, light citrusy hop and biscuit flavors. Thin body and average carbonation. Caramel and biscuit finish. A bit thin and watery but not bad. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - FEB 20, 2016
Bottle from Beer and WIne. Dark amber body with medium head. Nose is nice and malty. Taste is malty, caramel and citrus. Smooth texture. Spicy and citrus bursts. unclemike (3163) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - FEB 8, 2016
Copper, clear, off-white head. Aroma of toasty malt with some caramel, piney-resiny hops with a little floral hops as well. Flavor of toasty malt, a little toffee, firm bitterness with resiny American hops PlantCityJax (103) - Plant City, Florida, USA - JAN 26, 2016
Clean and refreshing but with substance. Not weak like a Pilsner but not trying to set bitterness records either. A nice balance. On Draft at Market Street Grill in Salt Lake City Airport.

appearance: slightly hazy, medium brown, frothy, bubbly white head, good lacing. aroma: some caramel and graham cracker, light grassy, floral hops. taste: caramel malty, toasty sweetness, some grapefruit and floral, grassy hops. finish: dry hop notes against the malty backbone, slightly watered down seemingly. notes: This is an ok pale ale. Just ok. Essentially an exact parallel to this brewery’s entire lineup, barring the outstanding Baba Black Lager.

On tap @ Uinta. Clear amber colored beer with some white foam. There’s a lot of caramel and bready malts to this. Somewhat estery and fruity, it seems. A bit of a grassy hop character, too. Some light citrus, minimal bitterness, and a lot of sweet malts all the way through. Not really my kind of pale ale. ogre71 (359) - Utah, USA - JUL 6, 2015
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2015 It has an IBU rating of 34 I thought it would have been much higher. It was to bitter, with a strong hoppy flavor not for me.
Didn’t really care for this one the first time I tried it, But had one the other night on tap at the bowling alley and it was good didn’t seem as overly hoppy and bitter like I remembered. Good beer. bb (9789) - Alamo, California, USA - APR 16, 2015
Draft. Rich amber beer with a dark cream head. Light malt aroma. Light grapefruit and light caramel flavor with light dark malts. Medium bodied. Light grapefruit and light darker malts linger. J_man (1022) - Tustin, California, USA - APR 9, 2015
Very little aroma from this slightly cloudy medium yellow/amber body with a nice white head. Taste is more like an amber ale than a pale ale with a good roasted malt flavor and some light buttery caramel sweetness. Hops are earthy and pungent and appropriately strong for the flavor. Body is a bit watery but not terribly. Ends with a woody, slightly bitter taste that lingers and is very tasty. A very nice beer overall. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 2, 2015
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of grass, bread, biscuit into a bit of yeast, hints of slight dough into a bit of grain. Taste was a mix of grass, grain, some earth into a bit of biscuit, bread, some yeast, finishing fairly dry, slightly bitter. Not really much flavor, but relatively refreshing after driving for 7 hours.
