Brett Pumpkin Ale
Part of Uinta’s new Wild ale program and feature that great barnyard funkiness from the Brett combined with sweet malts and pumpkin spices. A nice sour pumpkin ale.

Bottle:   Dirty amber, thin to moderate frothy white head, little lacing, decent amount of carbonation.   Funky Pumpkin is right, has a spicy nose up front but also very barnish and funky.   Spices seem more than cinnamon and nutmeg.   Has a bit of citrus zest, on the mandarin side.   This was refreshing, spicy and funky.   A touch dry, a touch tart.   Drinking this 4 months after the born on date.   I wonder what would happen to it after another four months, more barnishness?   Body and mouthfeel are smooth, a bit bubbly as well.   I am really enjoying this one.   Spices aren't overbearing, has a smooth yet bubbly mouthfeel, and it has that semi-dry and tart barnish funkiness.   Great balance, and one that I look forward to again next year.   Well done!

It was a cool and lovely breezy afternoon (How does it feel when you've got no food?) You could feel it 'cause it was the month of June (How does it feel when you've got no food?) So I left my gate and went out for a walk (How does it feel when you've got no food?) As I pass the dreadlocks' camp I heard them say (How does it feel when you've got no food?)

Same goup. Pours a dark pumpkin colon with s beige head. Nose is fall spices with some funk. Taste is sweet with fall spices and a good amount of funk. Finishes on the same tasting notes with good funk, tartness and a mixture of ‘ fall spices ‘ . Quaff Score 7 / 10

(Bottle) cloudy, bright orange colour with a small white head; aroma of sourness, fruit jelly; tart, spicy flavour with a long, light sour finish

Crabapple, currant, and allspice nose. Cloudy ochre, enormous yellow head, decent lace. The bottle had been in a freezer and the foam had frozen just a bit. It gushed upon opening, but given its solid state, it emerged from the bottle slowly like toothpaste from the tube. Intense flavor of tart orange, currant, and allspice, very strong. Some clove notes on the finish. Full body, easy carbonation. I think I’d like this with or without the spice, little funk or pumpkin presence, but a nice sour.

sweet brett beer. The brett is obvious, the base is malt sweet and the pupkin just adds a caramel type sugar to it. Its ok.

Poured from a difficult to open 750ml bottle. Low carbonation, brilliantly clear. There is a low level of burnt plastic and bandaids in both the aroma and flavor. Light tartness, some apple notes, the spicing is subtle. No one flavor overwhelms another, but this beer did seem light on all accounts, flavor, aroma, mouthfeel.

750mL cork and cage bottle. Thick glowing orange color, low clarity. Aroma has moderate brett, lively and lightly spikey wild, light leather. Only light spices hiding behind that. Flavor is mildly tart, spices on back end are light and match the tart brett character. Drier finish. This is how I like pumpkin beers.
