@ Jungle Jims / Eastgate - Clear dark copper amber with a snow-white head that drops to a head cover, curtain of lace. Taste is caramel malt that fights its way to the finish before finally being overtaken by pursuing pine hops. Both bitter and sweet linger deep through the finish. The delay makes it interesting, as well as recommendable. johnnnniee (4312) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 5, 2014
Can from the Lazy Dog
Pours s lightly hazy dark golden color that borders on amber with a huge fluffy whit head that persists for quite a while. Aromas of citrus and pine with some faint green onions and a solid hit of bready caramel malt to back it up. The flavor is actually quite malt forward with lots of sweet bread and rich caramel and toffee notes. Pine, resin, and a bit of green onion flavor provides a bit of balance. Firm hop bitterness. Medium body with a light to moderate level of carbonation and a sweet almost syrupy and resinous mouthfeel. My can shows a best before 1/25/14 I’m not sure when that means it was bottled, but I found this a bit malty for an IPA. Decent enough and drinkable, but I’d grab something else before this again. Can. Pours a clear golden orange with a thick off white head. Aroma is hoppy and resin, nice pine. Flavour is caramel grains and hoppy goodness. Finish is thick and bitter. Gamin (146) - Brockport, New York, USA - JAN 1, 2014
Drank 3 months before its best by date. Wonderful piney hop aroma! Pine is also prevalent in flavor with small amounts of citrus. A minor bitter burn at the end without destroying your tongue, just like I like it. A pretty great IPA.

Pours clear golden with huge head and lacing. Monster pine aroma and hop punch up front with decent malt finish to balance out the bitterness, medium bodied mouthfeel. Very good IPA.

Great aroma of floral and citrus hops. Some grapefruit, peachy citrus like hops with a nice malty backbone. Taste is malty with the same hop profile but maybe a bit of piney resinous finish. Almost tastes more like a double ipa. Full flavored and very good. A bit more bitter finish than I like but an ipa I would definitely buy again. I like the aroma better than the flavor, but if you want a mix of piney and citrus this one works well.

Hoppy but not at all astringent. I liked it. Nose is great for a hoppy ipa.
