Bought a case that was very well within date. Has a bold yet generic IPA flavor. There are notes of grapefruit, passion fruit and mango. But those are all in the background to the prevalent bitterness the hops bring. Mid malt backbone. No alcohol taste, so thatís great. Itís full bodied, bitter, tickles the tongue - but itís not my favorite...flavor?

This is an outstanding IPA (India Pale Ale) with an upfront citrus-hop blend taste that was a lasting flavor with a pleasant finish!

Cloudy orange amber. Decent lace. Aroma is orange and pineapple, with a little pine. Really fruity taste, malt coming through. Very tasty, earthy and solid. Well rounded. Good beer!

On tap. Semi-glowing copper color with a white. Bitter pine and dry malt in the aroma. Taste is clean bitter hops with pine. Dry malt backbone. No tropical fruit. Clean, lightly gritty mouthfeel. Solid IPA.

On tap at Barracuda Tavern, Boston. Nose of soapy hops, some fresh pine. Standard IPA look of dark amber. A little astringent, perhaps some detergent in the palate, but nice citrus flavours and a sweetish clean aftertaste. Taste more mellow fruit than pine, with a touch of honey detectable. Thought all American IPAs were beginning to taste the same to me, but this was a nice change up. Solid stuff

Bottle pour. Clean gold-amber in glass with a thick, off-white head. Nose is reserved: earthy, basement notes with mellowed hops, some orange rind. Very nice, I just wish more pronounced. Taste picks up the slack. The subtle orange from the nose is in full force, along with a robust, grainy earthiness. A good helping of sugar cookies in the middle. Ends bitter. A worthy export.

Good but these day an IPA by any other name is... well... an IPA. Good but there are SO many available.
