Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

Pours a very nice golden color. Citrus on the nose with some grassy pine notes. Malty on the finish, with the same citrus and grass upfront. A very nice example of the style.

Amber color and thick with citrus hops. This is an excellent IPA and with lots of malts for that high ABV then overly hopped to keep it bitter. Only complaint is that slight metalic aftertaste. Many say the can doesn’t cause that but when putting this high acidic brew in a can I sitll say it creates a metallic taste. Sad to see so many brewers going the way of the can.

Nice aroma of hops, citrus, and pine. Nice deep yellow color with a whiteish tan head. Great balance of flavors up front. Sweet malt and palatable bitterness from the hops. Balanced. Finishes smooth with an aftertaste that lingers. Very good.

On tap at my local hang out. Sold as Hop Notch, but apparently its the same thing. Served in a shaker pint. Poured orange with a slight haze and a one finger white head. Good amount of lace. Heavy pine resin and grapefruit aroma. Taste also features a good amount of sharp hop bite. Mostly pine and citrus. Malts are there, but they’re hiding under the bed, in fear of their lives. Full in the mouth with a resinous coating on the tongue. Finish is quite bitter. Been drinking a lot of this lately.

can pour..light amber color with small amount of head..not much carbonation..nose is wet cardboard..some apricot/mango..mouthfeel is much of the same with notes of honey..decent ipa but seems to be a bit plain jane for the style..

12 oz can poured into glass. Light citrus and hop smell. Nice hoppy and citrusy taste with a smooth bitter after taste. A nice IPa.

Draft at Momo's. Hazy copper pour with a frothy white head. Dank, pine and citrusy hops fill the nose with mild bread malts in the background. Sweetish, smooth entry with sticky tropical and dank hops ending with a prickly bitter ending. Not bad at all.

24/III/14 - 12Fl. Oz. bottle @ home - BB: IV/23/14 (2014-310) Thanks to Skatje for the bottle!

Clear orange to amber beer, creamy off-white to yellow head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very nice, lots of sweet exotic fruits, bit piny, mango. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: fruity, citrus, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, very bitter, bit medicinal, some caramel. Aftertaste: piny, bitter, citrus, some pineapples, resinous, passion fruits, very dry and bitter.

Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of citrus and pine hops with some earthy notes. Flavor is strong of the citrus hops up front that leads to the floral hops and caramel malts. Decent bitter finish as well.

Mmm good citrussy and grassy aromas, fresh. So refreshing and bright, floral, piney, honey. Smooth and silky.
