Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. Its balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

Right now the IPA market seems inundated as of late. But having said that breweries like Ballast Point and Brewdogs seem to nail it all day. This one, not so much. Golden hue. Way too foamy head. The hoppiness is there but seems a bit typical. It lacks that extra kick, that would set it off. Citrusy. Cloying wash. Its a very safe brew but if I was to see this again at a store I might look but I will pass by it in search of a better brew.

Tap at FW Saucer. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a light layer of white foam. Aroma is light hops, grass, sweet perfume notes and light citrus. Flavor is hoppy sweet upfront, resiny and sappy near the finish. Light bitterness with a tingle over the palate. Tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Has a nice pine/grapefruit bite on the initial front end. Mellows on the middle and has a nice tang at the back end. Very strong IPA.

Yard house on tap. Starts very even then builds in experience to hoppier. A little grassy and tame. But close to as advertised. Refreshing. I'm a beer drinker. This is good experience in ipa. I'd buy a keg of it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
