12oz bottle while visiting Albany, GA. Clear amber pour with a nice khaki head that lasts and laces well. Mild fruity aroma, some citrus, plenty of malt, hints of caramel. Light hoppy flavor, some citrus and tropical fruit, a touch much on the malt and caramel. Not bad. ClassyBeagle (376) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 20, 2013
FROM NOTES: June 28, ’12
Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass and sessioned the entire 6-pack.
A: Pours a clear, amber-golden hue with about a two-finger head that slowly dissipates. Thick lacing that leaves half a ring the same size as the head.
A: Smells just like the sticky-icky with some citrus zest blended in. STRONG hop nose.
T: The malt profile with the fantastic blend of hops is what sets this beer apart from other IPAs. This is a great tasting IPA.
P: Sticky hop oils coat the mouth and the finish is bitter, but not excessive.
O: An extremely well done IPA. Don’t sleep on Uinta Brewing! Ontbeertaster (2362) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 19, 2013
Bottle, smell is a bit grassy and straw, taste is a bit grassy and also a bit citrus, a nice bitterness and really quite nice. kathouse (1888) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - OCT 17, 2013
Beautiful golden amber with a thick head. Lots of lacings. Pine and caramel aromas with bright citrus notes. Caramel body with moderate hop flavors and bitterness. Bitterness lasts thru the finish. fidelis83 (2437) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - OCT 15, 2013
Nearly clear amber pour with a 2 finger, creamy off white head. Aroma of juicy citrus, fruity and pine hops, some biscuit, caramel, spicy hops maybe a touch of pineapple and mineral water. Flavor is sweet caramel up front, toast, cereal, spicy hops coming in rather quick, followed by a little toffee and melon, citrus, and pine hops to the fairly bitter finish. Medium body with a creamy to syrupy entry, more syrupy feel after that and a medium strength, slightly sharp carbonation. Good stuff overall, I like the juicy, fruity hops up front.

Really on the fence on this one, but to be fair, it is over a month past the bottle’s ’best before’ date so that might have something to do with it.
As it stands, this brew is just too malty sweet for my liking. It has a pleasant aftertaste, but man, its like choking down syrup to get there. Promising enough that I’d try it again if I can find a fresh one, otherwise, no. OysterMonkey (15) - - OCT 14, 2013
Thick foam with great retention, coppery and just slightly cloudy. Citrus and pine smell with a little sweetness. Beautifully balanced. Bitter and hoppy on the front end but with a solid malt core to hold it together. Light and smooth. Not overcarbonated. Really well done. Excellent overall.

Tap at Owl Farm. Slightly hazy golden pour. The nose is quite bright and fresh. Citrus and a bit of fruit. Bright and fairly resinous. Some orange marmalade and a touch of Spice retro nasally. Nice IPA PapsShenanigan (15) - - OCT 12, 2013
Not a big new Belgium fan, 1554 was great and just getting into imperial IPAs so I thought I'd give her a try. Overall, an easy to drink beer with nice depthop the top without too much bitter aftertaste. For a cheaper six pack(6.49) I definitely recommend. Cheers.

Poured from bottle into Crate and Barrel craft beer glass. Hazy amber orange with big fluffy off white head. LOTS of lacing. Big hoppy pine citrus aroma. Taste is sweet and juicy with plenty of hop and malt. Finish is long lingering bitter grapefruit. Very easy to drink. So smooth for a 7+ ABV. Plenty of carbonation. One of my favorite IPA’s to date.
