Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

Bottle (355 ml Alko web). Orange color, small white head. Citrus and resin in the nose. Medium-bodied. Citrus, fruits and resin in the flavor. Standard ipa. Could be freshier.

12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is quite mild, with light citrus, along with some bready / grainy notes. Flavour of grassy, citrusy hops, with some bready, grainy and earthy tones integrated nicely with just enough malt balance. Fairly standard, unspectacular, though well-crafted IPA.

The beer pours a clear golden orange with a white head. A really weird aroma. Quite floral with a little bit of grass and pine. Slightly sweet malt aroma, mostly bread. The flavor is moderately sweet without a ton of hop flavor either. It’s mostly grass and line with a touch of floral hops and citrus peel. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation.

355ml bottle (Alko Arkadia, Helsinki)
Ewww, stinky harsh hop aroma, sweet malts too. Tastes similar, stale over-stewed black tea. Harsh bitter palate, sweet and sticky too. Highly unpleasant beer, nothing right about this at all.

Sampled from bottle @ ChrisO’s after GBBF Day 1. Clear light orange-golden color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, again a bit old hops, hops, old a bit stale fruityness. Tastes about the same: malts, old hops, a bit stale fruityness, bitter. Decent body, medium carbonation. Decent but fresh it could and should be much better.

Pours light amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of floral and citrus hops. Med body. Flavor is light, light caramel with an odd hop flavor - floral and some sort of herbal thing. Maybe also citrus. Not harsh - a bit different, but quite good.

Can - Nice sweet caramel notes, citrus and some peel. Clear copper with a rich beige ehad. Lots of malt and some nice citrus with a good amount of bitterness. Solid old school IPA.
