I cannot say anything bad about this IPA it is a fantastic IPA. Hop nosh has a remarkable flavor with a nice bite
hop nosh tastes like grapefruit and a little bit of lemon. I rated this high because it is a great IPA and one of my very favorites hard to drink just one RickReallyBrew (99) - Franktown, Colorado, USA - FEB 27, 2015
This does not reach the level of hop-noxious as some of my hop-licious favorites, but strikes a very reasonable balance that will satisfy both the regular beer lovers and the hop heads, like me. I love this beer. The malt flavor is outstanding and high nuff octane for high Gravity enthusiasts! Thank God Utah has seen the light. Killer sustainable beer from Uinta!
Pine and Citrus from the inch and a half of frothy head
Heavy hop profile and well balanced. MattyKakes (117) - Virginia, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Golden caramel in color with a satisfying aroma of pears and citrus fruit. Utah is not that far from California. ..right? I can taste that similarity. Delicious! A +plus

What a great beer from the get-go! Appearance is a huge cream-colored, long lasting head with lots of lace, and a clear, honey amber color. Aroma is equal parts grapefruit and resin with caramel malt and hints of cereal. Flavor’s just spot on balanced with perfect amounts of malt sweet, hop bitter, carbonic tang. Body is dialed in too. I want more!! jerwinch (3) - - MAR 16, 2012 does not count
Dark clear orange with one inch of white sticky foam on top in a pint glass poured from a bottle. Fantastic hops aroma with pine and citrus dominating - this is what an IPA should smell like. Taste is solid hop bitterness, exactly what it smells like. Slight maltiness, smooth going down and a lingering of piney hops on the palate. A terrific IPA! obxdude10 (2324) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 16, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 15, 2014 Amazingly outstanding IPA! Hop Notch pours a very dark golden color with a beautiful off-white, cascading head. The nose is very inviting, with notes of spicy and floral hops, pine, grass, sweet malts and a touch of lemon. The flavors are very well-balanced and delicious, and the body is smooth, creamy and extremely drinkable. This is one of those IPA’s that I could sit hang with all night. Notes from the flavor include dry hops, grass, lightly toasted bread, grapefruit, lemon, pine and a touch of sweet malt. The finish is dry and spicy. beersak (91) - akron, USA - MAR 10, 2013
Excellent bold hop with a Citrus bitter aftertaste. Light white head and delicious hoppy aroma. Overall a great IPA!

Superior IPA. One of the best I’ve had in awhile. Great balance of sweetness with a citrus and pine hoppiness. Jay brought this one back with him from Utah in spring, 2013.
