Pours a hazy bronze. Nose has grapefruit and honey. Taste is a hop explosion with a bitter front with grapefruit running the show and a slight hint of lemon. It has a big malty finish with a slightly sweet and tart linger. One of my favorite IPAs, but definitely a hop-forward selection. tekstr1der (490) - New Hampshire, USA - NOV 27, 2014
UPDATED: FEB 16, 2015 Aroma: Citrusy, mouth-drool inducing olfactory perfection
Appearance: Deep amber, with clingy lacing coating the glass
Taste: Superbly balanced grapefruit citrus lets the hops be at the forefront without being overwhelming.
Palate: So smooth, at an ideal ABV, this is session stuff for me.
Overall: I can’t find any fault with this brew and I’m let down every time I try other IPAs (frequently). pezman (20) - - MAR 31, 2012
Wonderful inviting floral and fruity aroma. Tastes hoppy up front, wet, juicy with a touch of dryness setting in halfway thru. Not too bitter, a wonderfully flavorful easy drinking ipa that's easy on the palate. Absolutely fantastic.

Excellent IPA, citrus pine grassy aroma, dank spruce hop bitterness against a solid but in the background backbone. Nice lacing, balanced finish. Perfect abv for an IPA and carefully woven into the hops and malt to make this almost too drinkable. Top notch it is. zickbeer_ye (441) - Virginia, USA - AUG 2, 2013
Beautiful hoppy, tropical fruit aromas. White foamy head and nice orange body. Fresh hops and citrus flavors some slight earthy pine. Crisp with a nice hop bitterness on the palate. Delicious!

Poured from bottle into Crate and Barrel craft beer glass. Hazy amber orange with big fluffy off white head. LOTS of lacing. Big hoppy pine citrus aroma. Taste is sweet and juicy with plenty of hop and malt. Finish is long lingering bitter grapefruit. Very easy to drink. So smooth for a 7+ ABV. Plenty of carbonation. One of my favorite IPA’s to date. Drank 3 months before its best by date. Wonderful piney hop aroma! Pine is also prevalent in flavor with small amounts of citrus. A minor bitter burn at the end without destroying your tongue, just like I like it. A pretty great IPA. ihatebeer86 (1) - - APR 3, 2014 does not count
One of my favoritve IPAs. So well balanced, hoppy and bitter, yet sweet at the end. Just a very WELL rounded IPA. Best in the can! Ctplt777 (530) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - JUL 12, 2014
Delicious, simple enough. Tons of citrus notes on the aroma. Grapefruit like crazy here. It’s just awesome, exactly like what an IPA needs to smell like. The taste is just nuts. Tons of bitterness right off the bat. Lots of grapefruit juice here. Super smooth. Insanely good. Theres no way to describe it without just tasting it. One of my favorite IPA’s. Try it asap if you haven’t. Cheers. severedeer (4) - - AUG 23, 2014 does not count
