Bottled three weeks ago, so this is near peak freshness. Pours clear, pale copper with a medium off-white head. Resinous, piny aroma straight out of the bottle. Flavor follows suit with heavy resin and pine, some grass, and a bitter, dry finish. Mild cereal undertones don’t distract from the piny hops at all. Well made. notalush (5910) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - DEC 2, 2011
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2012 (Update - have had a few more times and has not seemed as sweet - also quite assertive without being abrasive - lots of tropical fruit - tasty and balanced - one of a handful of my go-to ipas when buying a sixer) First of all, I must say that I really like the new bottles Uinta is using - anyway, this beer pours a slightly hazy light copper with a soapy lace - potent, resinous, piney hops in the nose, with a bit of lemon ad orange zest - lightly sweet malt underneath - soft carbonation, full body - flavor has some fairly strong, tea-like crystal malt sweetness, but the sweetness is clean and in no way sticky - this provides a base for a fairly assertive hop profile - citric at first, piney through the middle and peppery/spicy in the finish - aggressive but not abrasive - a bit sweet for my tastes, but solid none-the-less. Hay, caramel and vanilla smells. Taste of slight bitterness and a nice hoppy palate. Very good beer! michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 21, 2011
12oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, citrus, pine, resin, grapefruit, and tangerine. Poured amber in color with a small, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Hazy. Sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium to heavily bitter. Tastes of malt, hops, grapefruit, citrus, pine, resin, and slight wood. Medium body. Oily, then lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Light to medium sweet, medium to heavily bitter, hop, malt, pine, resin, grapefruit, citrus finish is lightly dry. 7.3%ABV is completely hidden throughout. Thanks to my Winter 2011 Secret Santa for this one - Haz orange, dense white head. Smells like grapefruit and a little bit nutty. Kind of an odd aroma. Very tasty - grapefruit, some caramel, some grassy notes, and a long, sticky finish.

bottle. clear orange under a medium sized, whipped, white head. nose of pineapple and citrusy tropical fruits. the palate is light to medium for a large abv, with a juicy texture and lightly creamy. a well balanced ipa with flavors of biscuity bread, fresh earthy hops, purple grapes. a really smooth and balanced ipa. easy to drink. everything i’ve tried from uinta has been impressive the last couple years. troopie (2414) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - JAN 22, 2012
Bottle. I will definitely be looking for this in the future Orange with thick white head. Resiny and piney hop aroma. Full bodied floral flavour with a good chewiness. Hoppy finish. strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - JAN 29, 2012
Bottle. Powerful floral hop aroma. Clear golden beer with a nice white head that clings to the glass. Sharp bitterness with some spice in the lingering finish. Overall a very good IPA that I will go back for lots of flavor. billshmeinke (13) - USA - MAR 17, 2012
Aromas of resin, pine, and hints of citrus/grapefruit, some bread like malt as well.
Clear golden body with loads of head. Great lacing and retention.
Light medium honey like sweetness with a medium high bitterness.
Pretty nice IPA all around. Might pick this up again a few times. Probably no time soon though. jsmerig (1663) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 31, 2012
Pours a golden yellow. Aroma of ripe green hops. Saaz or other Noble variety. Taste is candied sugar with a slow building peppery spice to balance the sweetness that still wins out in the end. I haven't had an IPa with these hops before. Very interesting.
