This is less hoppy and more malty than most IPAs I have tried. Still, a nice balance. Pours a pale amber with a quickly settling head. Finish is on the dry side. Alcohol well hidden. Goes down easy. Nice. GMCC2181 (1608) - Newark, Delaware, USA - OCT 16, 2011
Bottle via stateline. Poured into a snifter, amber colored orange, decent head. Danky aroma of hops on the nose. Reminds me of a "wet" hopped brew. Taste isnt bitter but still hoppy. Flowers, a little danky/wet hop taste. Well balanced, easy to drink. Body: Light, low/medium carbonation. Overall: Nice IPA, that I would drink/buy again. Thanks to Matt for the recommendation. Aroma: citrus, pine, toasted malt, floral
Taste: resin, citrus, toasty malts, caramel
Not a bad IPA, but a little out of balance. This is a very resinous IPA.
Pours soft golden amber with two fingers of sticky white head. Very resinous and fresh nose, lots of citrus zest and a hint of pine with a very oily hop profile. Dry and zesty palate with a very resinous and oily hop character. Citrus rind bite and a very light sweetness.

Love the label design, especially the text on the left side. Nice-looking beer, too; bright gold with a frothy-foamy head. Has some bright flavors and aromas. Lots of snappy fruit (lemon, grapefruit, tangerine) and evergreens (pine, spruce). Itís also spicy, floral and grassy. Malts are nutty, bready and cracker-like, with a caramel-like sweetness at its core. Somewhat bold, but also balanced. Solid beer.

Thin white head with fair retention and decent lace. Lightly hazy gold colored ale. nose is gentle with spicy hops, light citrus and faint malts. Lightly medium body, nice carbonation, lil oily. Nice balance of citrusy hop flavors and light caramel malts, lil grainy and bready, light earthyness. Finishes fairly dry, lightly fruity.Easy quaffer for the ABV. Bottle thanks to thirdeye11. Super fresh hops, grassy, citrusy, and light florals. Very smooth on the palate, earthy, florals, light citrus, smooth finish. Beaver (1789) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 24, 2011
12oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange with a big fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.bhensonb (15088) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 25, 2011
The aroma is bready malts, some tangy melon and some dank, resiny, piney hops.
The flavor is a little sweet fruit with a big resiny almost charred bitterness. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and a little watery.
Overall, a pretty solid IPA. A little more sweet fruit and less char in the flavor to better balance it and a little more body and this would be excellent.
Pours light amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of floral and citrus hops. Med body. Flavor is light, light caramel with an odd hop flavor - floral and some sort of herbal thing. Maybe also citrus. Not harsh - a bit different, but quite good. Ibrew2or3 (8607) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JAN 7, 2012
Courtesy of SuperDave. Thanks man. 12oz bottle pours clear copper with off white head. The aroma is mild with muted spicy hops to earthy hops along with hints of sweet malts. The taste is similar with spicy hops running into earthy hops near midway and supported by some sweet malt notes. It seems to mirror the nose closely. Nice and easy drinking but the whole hop experience is on the light side for the style. I actually expected something bolder than this.
