Pours a light amber with about a finger of off-white head. Aroma is sweet citrus hops. Taste is slightly bitter but not overly hopped. Good easy drinking IPA with a serious ABV. Good stuff. pintocb (654) - Hoon, Georgia, USA - JUN 8, 2012
Copper color. Lots of pine in the nose. A hint of gin. First taste is balanced, but a little too bitter. Good finish. A bit thin. Overall a good beer. Bartzilla (622) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 13, 2012
Bought this on a whim and am pretty happy with the purchase. For the price, I wasn’t expecting much, but this is a really solid IPA. Tastes fresh with all the usual "notes" that everyone else has already gone into. Pretty poundable, even with it’s 7.3% abv. I could go back to this one and probably will as it’s tasty and respectably priced for what you’re getting. jrob21 (3690) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 14, 2012
Bottle into a pint glass. Deep orange almost red color with a big white head and nice lacing. Candy orange aroma. Flavor is full bodied and pretty sweet. Reminds me of those orange slice candies. Finish has a touch of grapefruit and leaves you with a long lasting sweetness. Little bit of pine bitterness working in background as well. jkwood04 (5448) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 19, 2012
12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours amber with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of citrusy and floral hops, caramel malts, and a little spiciness. Flavor the same, with enough hops to make me feel like it’s an IPA. Smooth texture. A pretty good beer.

Gold, not much in the way of hop aroma, some citrus and pine with malt presence in the aroma. Medium bodied, full malt and hop palate, bitter with no distinguishable hop varietal. Kind of muted all around. Finish is hoppy and full w/ lasting bitterness. A straight forward IPA with out a lot of complexity. Worth the $8.99 price tag if you need to get you hop fix.

Total Wine, Fairfax 355ml ($2): Pours a golden colour with a white head. Aroma is floral, malty, honeyish, with some sharper hops in there as well. Taste is a little sweet. Good astringent hops from the middle to the end. Mellow mouthfeel. Slightly lingering aftertaste. High alcohol superbly covered. Well-balanced. I was expecting something good with this, but this fortunately exceeded my expectations. Jubes (5) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 1, 2012 does not count
Orange gold pour citrus nose. Hops linger throughout but not over done. Tasty overall.

Bottle. Poured clear dark amber color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This a very good brew. Draft at Maria’s. Pours a nice looking deep golden orange, lightly hazed with persistent white head. The nose is distinctly hop forward, notes of citrus and faint resiny pine. Clean overall with a bit of an old school hop aroma. Big aroma. Faint malt. On tasting, it is medium high in bitterness. It could stand to be kicked up a notch. The malt is nice, touch sweet and supportive. Resiny hop flavors at the finish, not my favorite. A bit light overall on the palate which detracts. Still, solid NW style IPA.
