Smells of sweet roasted malts little bit of dark fruit. Rich dark black in color with thick three finger brownish head that slowly dissipates. Rich sweet malt Flavor with huge coffee and sweet milk chocolate coming through as the star of this brew. Full creamy body with a quick carbonation that turns to flat very fast but smooth. Very nice body and flavor one of my favorite schwarzbier thus far in my great exploration to find the world’s best beer. Nice work! beerbomb (228) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 15, 2016

This is my kind of beer. Dark, rich, sweet and that bitter end. Sounds a bit like a relationship...
Strong chocolate smooth taste with roasty finish. If you like stouts or darks, it’s a very solid drinkable favorite oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 8, 2016
Pours a nice dark brown (almost black) with a small tan head. Aromas of sweet roast malts, chocolate, and hints of fruit (cherries?). Flavor is almost to sweet, I can detect little trace amounts of licorice. Felt a little watery to me on the finish. TapsnCaps (5) - Washington, USA - MAY 4, 2016 does not count
This beer pours great. Dark Brown in color. Nice Head that dissipates quickly though. Taste is surprising for a dark lager, coffee and toasty caramel notes really come through. Overall enjoyed this beer, solid schwarzbier.

Aroma: roasted malts and roasted caramel.
Appearance: deep brown color and creamy head.
Taste: roasted notes, low herbal bitterness, caramel, semi-dry.
Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, roasted finish.
Overall: Really decent schwarzbier, seems to be a little bit too sweet, but that’s fine. Beerhunter111 (20359) - P´Castle, GERMANY - FEB 28, 2016
Klare dunkel orange braune Farbe, mittelgroße leicht beige Schaumkrone. Geruch schokoladig, mild röstmalzig, Vanille. Geschmack röstmalzig süß, Kaffee, Vanille, lecker! ChadPolenz (1804) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - FEB 24, 2016
BJCP Category 8B: Schwarzbier
AROMA: Plenty of roasty malt like a stout. Light chocolate/coffee. Clean fermentation; no apparent esters. 10/12
APPEARANCE: Black proper hue; dark ruby highlights. Seems filtered. Large tan foamy head - great retention and lacing. 3/3
FLAVOR: Malt-forward with dark malt and some roastiness and coffee in the background. Dry bitterness at the apex with slight floral/pine hops. Sweet, but far from cloying. Not wonderfully delicious, but Absolutely to-spec on all points! 17/20
MOUTHFEEL: Surprisingly thick for such a light beer. Medium body. Slightly dry, but easily tolerable aftertaste. Not refreshing, but fun and easy to drink. 5/5
OVERALL IMPRESSION: Almost a perfect beer and probably the best example of the style I can recall having. A fresh bottle might score a perfect 50! 9/10
TOTAL SCORE: 44/50
