Bottle. Lightly hazy blonde, estery yeasty aroma, a little sweaty. Rustic yeast guides the palate, sweet pale grains, a little marzipan. Not bad.

Spicy, earthy, banana yeast aroma and flavor. Starts out fairly dry; finishing sweeter, with some apple-ish aftertaste.

12oz bottle. Pours a golden orange color with a small white bubbly head. Aroma of slightly funky yeast, wheat, peppery, and some citrus. Taste is belgian yeast, along with some pepper, lemon, and coriander.

Great aroma, fruity and yeasty. A bit overpowering in its sweetness but tart like a grapefruit ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

penstemon (224) - Washington, USA - APR 13, 2013
Pours golden with a nice foamy white head. Aromas of clove, Belgian yeast, metallic, banana, and malt sweetness. Tastes of banana, yeast, sweet malts, a little clove and maybe a hint of pear. This was alright and has some nice flavors but seemed to be lacking something. Maybe not enough body for the abv.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours clear golden, thin white head lots of bubble and very decent lacing. Aroma is mostly fruity, some yeast and some clove. Taste is also fruity some spices, malty notes; but it is a bit weak definitely is the Belgian style but tamed. It is drinkable and with a crisp finish, refreshing.

I liked this because I’m not a big fan of the Belgian beers. It’s palate was weak but still had the underlying Belgian character. Easy to drink and a nice mild flavor. If you like strong Belgian ales skip this one.

Clear and bubbly like champagne. Taste resembles a slightly bitter wine. Tastes almost like a a cider.
