crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 23, 2012
12 oz bottle. Bottled 01/04/12. It pours a brilliant clear gold, one of the clearest most pure golden-hued beers I have ever seen. The head is foamy and white and leaves some nice lacing. The smell is okay. Huge esters but honestly this almost just smells like an adjunct lager without the corn. It has that sourness to it that isn’t "sour" but that tart AAL scent. The flavor is flowery and yeasty. It has a decent sweetness, some metallic flavors, and basic grain flavors. Not too bitter. It is just really plain, there is nothing that distinguishes it besides its gorgeous appearance. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 04-22-2012 22:23:38

A decent spiced aroma over a dry slightly fruity ale base. Fairly simple but pretty good...lingering mouthfeel and clove & pineapple aftertaste. 6.8% abv on the label not 4% as listed. Slight warming alcohol presence."

hopscotch (11101) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 14, 2008
Bottle (2003 or 2004) ... Cloudy golden ale with a mid-sized, tissue paper-like, white head. Good retention. Estery, phenolic, yeasty aroma dictates fruitcake, cinnamon, biscuit, clove, apple, pear, coriander and honey notes. Medium-bodied with an extremely drying mouthfeel. Fruity flavor is very low on residual sweetness and, but offers a tempered bitterness. Citric and moderately tart with a grassy note of clover. Tangy, Sahara-dry finish sucks all the moisture from my head. Over attenuated? Strange, interesting brew! Kudos go out to maniac for shipping the bottle my way!

daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 1, 2008
Bottle from strykzone. Thanks! Very interesting beer. Pours a hazy godl with a big white head. Aroma of yeast, banana, honey, apple juice and malts. Flavor is yeasty, sweet, a tad spicy and a very small hop profile. I do believe this beer is way underrated.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Boulder Liquor Mart. Golden orange appearance with a tan head. Mild black pepper, light banana, lemon, light cracker nose. Moderate high sweetness. Quite a bit of spice. A little twangy. Some orange, light banana, hint of clove. Low bitterness. Fine.

DuffMan (10429) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 2, 2013
Bottle. Lightly hazy blonde, estery yeasty aroma, a little sweaty. Rustic yeast guides the palate, sweet pale grains, a little marzipan. Not bad.
