Appealing Sorachi hops, an uncommon hop from Japan, balanced with lighter malts. Citrusy, fresh, clean. Sum’r Organic Summer Ale pairs well with summer. It is an easy companion to most foods on the summer grill, such as chicken, fish, and burgers. Pairs well with curries and spicy foods. Try it with sushi!

   AROMA 4/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 13/20
GSH1976 (307) - Delaware, USA - SEP 21, 2012
Pours a clear, straw color with minimal head. Aroma is some very faint wheat. Taste reminds me of a pilsner. This beer is crisp and refreshing but at the same time rather boring.

Listigovers (1383) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 26, 2016
Hazy golden pour with a big white head that coats the glass. Lightly grainy and floral hop aroma. Light bodied, kind of round wheat beer like body. Taste is toast crust, a bit of biscuit, boring.

Dogbrick (14287) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 27, 2016
Clear golden color with a medium thin white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of fruit, grassy hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, mild hops and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

thegreenrooster (4626) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 22, 2016
Pour is a hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma is a bit lemony with a husky grain Flavor is super watery and bland. Not much going on with this beer It was cold and refreshing though

snoworsummer (6273) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 20, 2016
Draft at the brewery. Pours clear pale gold with a thick, creamy white head. Tastes like pale malts, faint citrus, some corn, grassy hops, and some bitter grapefruit. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like pale malts, corn, grassy hops, and faint citrus.

books_n_brews (163) - Baltimore-ish, Maryland, USA - MAY 13, 2016
Crisp and clean with a bit of citrus. Very refreshing for a summer day. Very drinkable and relaxing. If you are looking for a pop this isn’t it. But very mild, nice clear gold pour.

hopdog (13191) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 4, 2016
12oz bottle. Poured a yellow color with an averaged sized head. I can see why this is a summer ale ... should have had it when it was 90 degrees outside, chilled to the point it was tasteless.

oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 14, 2016
Pours a light golden yellow. Aromas of light malts and grains with a hint of hops. Light, crisp malty flavor with a nice ending hop.

altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - FEB 14, 2016
Bottle from Bethesda Food and Beverage. Hazy straw body with thin head. Nose is hoppy, grainy and a bit sour. Taste is hoppy, quite grainy and funky, then gets a bit citrus in the finish. Pretty good.

beerbomb (239) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 10, 2015
UPDATED: DEC 12, 2015 rating this considering it is a light summer beer: aroma is toasted grain, rye, bread, pepper, yeast-some herbal hoppiness. flavor is light yet bold; quality grain, toasty cracker, yeast, slight peppery/herbal background. this is an excellent light beer-consider its around 4% abv-quality grain and hops, straight forward and refreshing-flavor doesnt cloy or get old-excellent mouthfeel and palate. for summer beers of this type-one of the best. **been drinking these since the summer and theyre still great from the cellar-says something about the quality

hopscotch (11409) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 7, 2015
Draft... Pours clear and yellow with a small, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma is a fruity medley of passionfruit, lime and lemon peels with a light note of resin. Light to medium-bodied and creamy with soft carbonation. The flavor is lightly citrusy and grainy and mildly buttery. Short, crisp finish.
