Can from Tipples. Best before 9/9/14, poured 7/31/14. Pours clear golden with a big fluffy white head. Aroma of nice floral hops, some lemon peel, a bit of soapy hop notes, and mild malt in the background. Flavor is nice bitterness up front, some grassy hops, hay, hint of citrus peel, light bready sweetness, and a slightly dirty flavor on the finish. This one is light and crisp with plus carbonation. The malts are waaaaay in the background. Other than the slightly weird finish on this--and it’s not all that prominent--this was very nice. Maybe a bit more malt sweetness would be nice, but the. It wouldn’t be Extra pale I guess. I don’t get the low ratings here. Good beer that I could drink all day.

Pale golden, yellow, small white head. Orange citrus, fresh hay. Light bitterness initially, countered by mid sweetness that compromises the majority of the taste. Light body, some acidity-driven effervescence. Mild carbonation. Pleasant.

From Can. Nice fresh aroma of citrusy hops, with mild notes of pine. Hazy light orange amber color, solid tan head. First taste is citrusy hops mixed with some sweet malt/ bread tones. Malt flavor is on the mild side. Finishes with mild hop bitterness. Light mouth feel. O.k. but nothing special.

Bottle from the local ABC. Nose is big lemon and citrus notes. A touch of pine in there. Flavor is mainly light citrus and a hint of malt. It’s nice for a hot day.

On tap at Adirondack Hotel on Long Lake. Slightly hazy, golden body with a thin, lasting white creamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with citrusy and grainy hints. Its fresh hoppy taste carries melon and mango notes. Ends with a good bitter/herbal finish.

From a bottle. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Tastes like earthy hops, dry cracker malt, light sweetness. Smooth. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like earthy malt, light doughy sweetness.

Appearance- the best thing about this beer is the appearance. I’d never had it before and got my hopes up after seeing it in the glass (tulip). A beautiful amber and gold hue with a huge foamy ivory head that lasted forever, and excellent lacing. Fairly cloudy/hazy, unfiltered look. Smell- not much going on here, unfortunately. Sorry. I really struggled to identify noteworthy characteristics. Simply put, it smelled like beer (and reminded me more of a pilsner). Taste- again, not a lot (if anything) that stood out. Bitter with some light bread notes. Very disappointing, given how great it looked in the glass. Mouthfeel- light, crisp. Overall- not bad, but not anything more than "ok" for me. Cheers all!

tap at McStiff’s - Pours gold with a white head and good lacing. It has a citrus hop led aroma. The flavor is moderately bitter with cand caramitrus notes and caramel malt. It’s medium bodied and overall a decent beer. It does seem like it should be listed as an APA.
