BMMillsy (1788) - Florida, USA - JUL 31, 2014
Can from Tipples. Best before 9/9/14, poured 7/31/14. Pours clear golden with a big fluffy white head. Aroma of nice floral hops, some lemon peel, a bit of soapy hop notes, and mild malt in the background. Flavor is nice bitterness up front, some grassy hops, hay, hint of citrus peel, light bready sweetness, and a slightly dirty flavor on the finish. This one is light and crisp with plus carbonation. The malts are waaaaay in the background. Other than the slightly weird finish on this--and it’s not all that prominent--this was very nice. Maybe a bit more malt sweetness would be nice, but the. It wouldn’t be Extra pale I guess. I don’t get the low ratings here. Good beer that I could drink all day.

Can. Pours a hazy, bright gold with a high, large-grained, lacy white head. Nose is grapefruit, lime, and a touch of salinity. Citric on the tongue, with lemon and a touch of saltiness; crisp and very clean, with a bitter finish that shades more into grapefruit. Really easy to drink, and really refreshing. Enjoyable.

gold-light amber color; citrusy, grapefruit hop aroma; citrusy, grapefruit hop flavor on a light bodied, semi-sweet malt base

Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - FEB 18, 2012
Pours a orange yellow color with a floral aroma. Taste is fruity and light surprisingly light for a pale ale. Mild hoppy aftertaste which makes it drinkable.

Airy white head with murky deep yellow body. Aroma is extremely earthy and so is the taste. A bit too earthy, so the flavor seems a bit off to me.

Aroma is kind of full of hops & floral scents. Appearance is a slightly cloudy burnt orange with basically no head. It does leave some nice lacing. The taste, however, is a different story. There’s some decent hop character up front but it’s followed by flavorless dryness. Essentially no taste after the initial hop front. I’m in no way, shape, or form a fan.

well this beer is on tap at Mad Mex. It is a nice pale Ale but quite thin. rather a pale ale with a lot of melted ice.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2012 Bottle... dated 3/12/10. Maybe this was too old at the time I purchased. Huge white foamy, bubbly head... almost out of control. Aroma was pretty muted, mild hoppiness. Gold color, heavy carbonation, medium body. Taste is a little sour / astringent. I may try again given this bottle may have been off. Had again on 2.11.12 and seems like a good bottle. Very yellow color, clear, decent head. Aroma is still a mild hoppiness and taste is also moderate. Seems like a mild pale.

Sublime Ale House in San Marcos, Calif., on July 14, 2012. Draft into pint glass. Golden honey orange color. One finger of head when I got it that slowly dissipated. Light white lacing with good retention all around. Smelled a potent whiff of citrus hops, mainly grapefruit and lemon. Lots of bitter notes, but refreshing, making me want to try it. Got a sharp taste of citrus bitter hops up front, giving way to a refreshingly clean finish. Grapefuit, tangerine, orange and lemon led the way. Very bitter overall. Seems a lot stronger than 4 percent. Light body. Thin texture. Average-to-below average carbonation. Bitter, abrupt finish. Clean, crisp and refreshing. Just a great beer for the summer. Another good beer from Uinta.
