surprised at the low rating for this one. Its a light bodied, low alcohol, hop forward American Pale but its a good one. biscuity aroma, light copper appearance with a wispy head. very sessionable. nice refreshing flavor, light bodied but has cereal malt and hop assertiveness, lingering finish. really nice for such a low abv beer

Wyld hey? Not nearly as wyld as that wily Teuton from foreign shores known as VAL FUCKING BLATZ! That man was truly & verily WYLD. Crazy WYLD. He was the Chuck Yeager of continental brewers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. That MOFO was KRAZY WYLD. If he would have been on a plane that had snakes on it, those verminous little bastards would have jumped out on a suicide mission to avoid his righteous wrath.....errr...where was I going with this? Dunno. This beer is OK, just dont expect it to be comparable in any way, shape or form to the original WYLD beverage of bacchanalian mayhem: BLATZ!

12 oz can served in a lager glass. A: Large foamy white head over a pale, hazed, golden body. Plenty of sticky lacing get left on the glass. Fruity with a hint of toffee. Mild bitterness. Feel: Light but not watery body with medium carbonation.

8/X/15 - 12Fl. Oz. can @ home - BB: V/14/15 (2015-1455) Thanks to ElManana+1 for sharing the can!

Clear blond beer, small creamy aery head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, malty, honey. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: rather sweet, some citrus, bit grassy, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: some citrus, honey, bit sweet, malty, caramel, nice bitterness. Pretty ok for a beer past date, kept it into account though when rating, so gave it a little more than it actually tasted.

Can at tderoeck's place. Malty, light hoppy, good pilsener/lager, but for an american pale ale, it falls too short.

Bottle from Harvest Market, Bedford NH. Aroma is citrusy hops, a little bit of sulfur, basement. Appearance is pale yellow with greenish tint. Cloudy with sediment and 2 finger width pillowy white head with nice sparkle, retention that was too long, and foamy lacing. Taste is citrusy with a bit of skunk but way overpowered by palate. Palate is light bodied with thin texture but all of that is obscured by way too much fizzy carbonation (like a cheap champagne). Finish is like you are drowning in foam but then is abruptly gone. Overall, this may not have been the fairest representation of this beer--it was a bit old. Ill have to get another at some point and re-rate. This version had a lot of negatives.

Pours a light orange with a foamy off-white head that leaves some foamy rings of lace on the glass. Smell is of malt, citrus zest, and some fruity peach-like aromas. Taste is much the same with a citrus zest flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel.very sessionable.
