A hoodoo is a tall, this spire of rock that protrudes from the bottom of a basin or badland that are mainly located in the dry, hot areas. Hoodoos can reach heights exceeding that of a 10- story building. So why the name of your beer you might be wondering…well, nowhere in the world are Hoodoos more abundant than right here in our home state, more specifically, in Bryce Canyon National Park.

Ultimately dissatisfying beverage that is so rounded off you are wondering if you are drinking at all. Low on flavor and aroma, although quite clean.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Boulder Liquor Mart. Pours a light orange appearance with a white head. Aroma has some angel food cake, bread, dough, lemon, soft aroma. Off dry. Low bitterness. Vanilla cake, lemon flavor. Not a ton going on but it’s easy to chug and clean.

This is a lighter beer that has a fresh and tasty mix of hops and malts. It is light and crisp.

Tap. Pale golden with small head. Light boozy with some lemon. Almost tart. A bit strange for a kolsch, but decent.

Straw hazy color, white head. aroma is lemony and a little pilsner like. Crisp, dry, lemon, light yeast flavors. Hop character is very pilsner like too. Well crafted (nothing off or unpleasant), very drinkable, but I’d rather be drinking a Hop Nosh.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with white head. Straw, noble hops, pils malt aromas. Veggie, corn, straw, spicy flavors. The veggie/corn flavor is a little off-putting. Also a touch metallic. I wouldn’t get this one again.

Bottle. Clear pale yellow color, white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of peppery straw. taste is peppery hay.

Rated as Uinta HooDoo - Warner Robins, Ga. - Lazy Dog Growler - 12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy light golden with a light soft off-white head that leaves just a trail of lacing. Aroma has some light spicy notes a hint of yeast. Flavor has some nice buttery accents, some bready notes, some nice saffron-like spiciness. Mouthfeel is nice and crisp. Love the bottle - has a drawing of "Thor’s Hammer" and iconic Hoodoo at Bryce National Park that I was just at 2 weeks ago.

(12oz bottle) clear light gold, fine soapy white bubbles. Nose is very sweet, candi sugar, grainy, grapes. Taste is quite sweet, oats, biscuit, honey, medium to light body, touch of butter on the finish.

robertjm (898) - Albany, California, USA - JUN 30, 2014
(12oz. bottle) - Very small white head that collapses pretty fast. Light golden body. Typical Euro flavor and aroma. Mouth feel is actually on the watery side for me. Clean palate though.
