Strong aroma is quite hoppy and piney, with a hint of citrus, more like an IPA than a "regular" pale ale. It pours a typical but still appealing clear amber with a decent off-white head that leaves some good lacing. Flavor is quite hoppy with a malty undertone and hints of caramel and sour citrus. Texture is smooth and somewhat fizzy, leaving a nice hoppy tingle. You can just about taste the wilderness. Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - FEB 18, 2012
Pours a orange yellow color with a floral aroma. Taste is fruity and light surprisingly light for a pale ale. Mild hoppy aftertaste which makes it drinkable. jrodooo5 (1691) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - FEB 3, 2012
Aroma is kind of full of hops & floral scents. Appearance is a slightly cloudy burnt orange with basically no head. It does leave some nice lacing. The taste, however, is a different story. There’s some decent hop character up front but it’s followed by flavorless dryness. Essentially no taste after the initial hop front. I’m in no way, shape, or form a fan. savnac (2391) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - FEB 2, 2012
On tap @ The Bruey Provisions. Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and some toast. Flavor is mildly bitter with a light malt backbone. Medium to light in body with average carbonation. Decent enough pale ale, nothing that really stands out though.

On tap @ Pour 24 in New York New York. Medium golden, lasting white head. Aroma is sweet fruity hops, like tinned fruit cocktail. Pears-in-syrup fruit hops, clean malts, mildly bitter finish. Quite satisfying. scottw86 (1177) - Maryland, USA - JAN 20, 2012
Poured a very pale yellow color with a huge stable off-white head. Aroma has lots of citrus, grapefruit, and apricot. Taste is nice and fruity with some peach flavors. A tiny bit skunky and watery. Some decent citrus and floral hoppy notes as well. Finish is fruity with peach and apricot. Overall very drinkable, but a tad watery. bseribeer (128) - Illinois, USA - JAN 11, 2012
Ok pale, but ultimately forgettable. Pours straw with a little haze and a foamy, white head. Aroma thick with hops. Taste is a little bitter. Crisp, dry finish. Very fizzy on the palate. This is an enjoyable brew, I can see this paired well with meats, but it really doesn’t stick out. reebtogi (6330) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 30, 2011
355ml bottle pours straw color with a small white head which leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is light malts and some citrusy hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with a mild hoppy bitterness in the finish. Decent carbonation and light body. A decent pale ale but nothing really special about it. derekbrown (109) - Greenville, North Carolina, USA - DEC 27, 2011
Citrusy. Lots of grapefruit in the aroma. Tastes like a below average pale ale until BAM! Detergent. Horrendous finish.
