COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This full-flavored amber lager delivers a complex, toasted malt body and noble hop character. Honey and caramel undercurrents. Vanilla accents. Malty with light and hoppy notes. Finishes dry. Yard Sale pairs well with earthy mushroom bisque, grilled lamb or pork, and even mussels and clams.
STORY
"Yard Sale" is skier slang for when a skier falls down on a slope and loses his gear which ends up scattered down the mountain.

Looks nice in a glass with the thick head and amber color but that is all it does. Typical lager aroma or lack there of and a taste that is maybe better than some lagers but still just another lager and then we look at the thin body even for a lager and the lack of one more percent ABV to make it at least not a LIGHT lager.... Just sad for winter and on Christmas too.... :(

Can at the Gnarly Barley. Pours clear bright copper with a fizzy, bubbly off white head. Tastes like caramel and bready malt, corn, some citrus hops, and musky grains. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like corn, caramel and bready malt, musky grains, and some citrus hops.

Aromas of graham crackers, lager yeast, caramel and brown sugar. Pours amber/copper with moderately heavy foam. Taste is brown sugar, lager yeast, subtle caramel, graham cracker malt, wet cardboard malt and some maple. Overall, bit of more body than a standard lager yet still lacking.

12oz can pours a slightly hazy Amber with a large khaki head. Aroma of caraml malt and bready dough yeast. Taste of dry doughy bread yeast, lightly sweet caramel malt, and light hop. Not bad for an Amber Lager.

Can at home. Clear reddish amber pour with a rocky head - good looking. Toast, caramel, some malt. Palate is a little thin. Pretty average Vienna.

Pours clear bronze with a dense soapy beige head. The aroma is bready with a bit of toast, lager roundedness and a touch of dry caramel. It has a fairly light crisp body with a mild amount of carbonation. The flavor starts with dry caramel, some spice, crackers and a hint of minerals. The finish is very short lasting with a hint of hops and mild fruit. Decent.
