COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This full-flavored amber lager delivers a complex, toasted malt body and noble hop character. Honey and caramel undercurrents. Vanilla accents. Malty with light and hoppy notes. Finishes dry. Yard Sale pairs well with earthy mushroom bisque, grilled lamb or pork, and even mussels and clams.
STORY
"Yard Sale" is skier slang for when a skier falls down on a slope and loses his gear which ends up scattered down the mountain.

Aroma is light malt and a bit of noble hopping, minerally. Appearance is copper brown with small off white head, hazy. Taste is malt forward, grainy pilsner malt, light tartness, lingering bitterness present, hint of corn and noble hop flavor. Palate is light and crisp. Overall a decent Vienna. Could be a little bigger for my taste and Im not loving the corn but still very drinkable and refreshing.

12oz can. Amber copper color with creamy tan head. Biscuit malt lemon citrus aroma. Flavor is a hint of citrus but mostly that earthy flavor you get from noble hops. Biscuity malt an a slightly bitter dry finish. Would have guessed it Bavarian if I didn't already know it was from Utah.

12oz bottle. Amber color, tall white foam. Smells of malts. Definitely an Amber Lager of even a Vienna. Tastes of lightly toasted cereal, earthy hops notes. Wooded flavors in the finish. Perfect to drink with a meal. (4288)

Cybercat (6346) - Georgia, USA - JAN 28, 2015
Pours clear amber with a fairly thick and fluffy eggshell head. Aroma is malty and a little fruity, not particularly strong or impressive. Malty flavor is not complex, but very drinkable; hints of vanilla and honey pop up as it goes across the palate. Texture is smooth and a little fizzy, average but still pleasing. If not a memorable beer, certainly good by itself or with a meal.

halfonit (1412) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 17, 2015
On tap at Four Corners in Quincy. Pours a clear darker golden amber color. Aroma is of malts, soap, a lottle something sour and some roastiness. Flat palate. Flavors are quite mild. Malts, hops, some roastiness, a little brown sugar and some citrus are present. Leaves a light roasts malt finish. Pretty weak.

Clean and soft copper amber pour with two fingers of sticky dirty white head. Nose is grainy and bready with toasted malt and earthy notes. A light grassy quality and touch of sweetness show as well. Dry on the finish. Bready and toasty innocuous malt profile with a light hop character showing. Somewhat vegetal character.

Decent Vienna lager, beautiful pour, average sweet malt aroma and taste. Orange copper body and immediate fluffy head. Medium weight, but no winter spice, as others have mentioned. Pure Vienna all the way.

I enjoyed this beer. It’s a winter lager without too much spice, but lots of flavor.
