Pours clear amber with a fairly thick and fluffy eggshell head. Aroma is malty and a little fruity, not particularly strong or impressive. Malty flavor is not complex, but very drinkable; hints of vanilla and honey pop up as it goes across the palate. Texture is smooth and a little fizzy, average but still pleasing. If not a memorable beer, certainly good by itself or with a meal. halfonit (1364) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 17, 2015
On tap at Four Corners in Quincy. Pours a clear darker golden amber color. Aroma is of malts, soap, a lottle something sour and some roastiness. Flat palate. Flavors are quite mild. Malts, hops, some roastiness, a little brown sugar and some citrus are present. Leaves a light roasts malt finish. Pretty weak. emacgee (4675) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - JAN 5, 2015
Clean and soft copper amber pour with two fingers of sticky dirty white head. Nose is grainy and bready with toasted malt and earthy notes. A light grassy quality and touch of sweetness show as well. Dry on the finish. Bready and toasty innocuous malt profile with a light hop character showing. Somewhat vegetal character. OldGrowth (3474) - the Containment Area, North Carolina, USA - JAN 4, 2015

Decent Vienna lager, beautiful pour, average sweet malt aroma and taste. Orange copper body and immediate fluffy head. Medium weight, but no winter spice, as others have mentioned. Pure Vienna all the way.

I enjoyed this beer. It’s a winter lager without too much spice, but lots of flavor. cstuartj (1020) - Washington, USA - DEC 12, 2014

Poured from can. Copper color with off white head. Toasted malt aroma with light citrus and herbal notes. Flavor starts out toasted and caramel malt followed with some vanilla. Finishes very clean light floral hop. Kind of a creamy vanilla aftertaste. Very smooth and clean beer. aumentm (452) - North Carolina, USA - NOV 21, 2014

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a nice copper color with a big and billowy off white colored head. The head has huge carbonation bubbles entrapped within, which pop over time to leave a good level of lace on the sides of the glass as the head recedes.
Smell – The smells is mainly of a roasted malt and a light amount of a toffee sweetness. Mixed with these are subtle aromas of a citrus hop and a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg spice.
Taste – The taste begins with a lighter roasted malt flavor with a touch of caramel. The caramel gets stronger more toward the middle of the taste, only to fade again slightly more toward the end. While the caramel changes in intensity the roasted malt flavor remains relatively constant throughout and creates a solid base for the brew. Toward the end, a bit of a bitter grapefruit citrus hop and floral hop flavors come to the tongue combining with the more roasted flavors of the brew to produce a lingering, lightly sweetened, and somewhat bitter roasted flavor on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body of the brew is on the thinner to average side in terms of creaminess and thickness with a carbonation level that is rather average. The thinner to average body and average carbonation are a nice compromise between the drinkability and lighter abv of the brew but yet still can uphold the roasted flavors of the beer.
Overall - An easy drinking and rather flavorful brew for only a 4 % abv brew. A nice session winter style lager.
