Draft in Vegas, baby! Clear amber color, thick white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of white pepper. Taste spiced bitter straw. bhensonb (15191) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 22, 2006
Medium malty aroma. Pale tan head, with a reddish coppery color. Slightly smoky malt for start, arguably a bit of coffee in the middle, defaulting to a rather (for a malty lager) dry finish, with malt flavor. Pretty minimal hop, but a nice alternative to the overly sweet German dark lagers. I like it, and I usually find lagers distasteful. Ratman197 (14830) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - FEB 6, 2012

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2014 "Pretty nice amber red lager with lots of little subtleties. Vanilla, Carmel, toasted malt and a nice crisp hop bite. Nice session brew that is anything but boring..." cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 7, 2012
Bottle @ home. Dark copper appearance with a small to medium-sized tan head. Very toasty, hugely nutty, dark caramel malty nose. Smooth, lightly syrupy mouth feel. There’s a huge nutty, caramel taste in the flavor that’s very rich and roasty. The whole flavor seems a little over the top. BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 30, 2015
Can at home. Clear reddish amber pour with a rocky head - good looking. Toast, caramel, some malt. Palate is a little thin. Pretty average Vienna.
