Draft in Vegas, baby! Clear amber color, thick white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of white pepper. Taste spiced bitter straw. bhensonb (15985) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 22, 2006
Medium malty aroma. Pale tan head, with a reddish coppery color. Slightly smoky malt for start, arguably a bit of coffee in the middle, defaulting to a rather (for a malty lager) dry finish, with malt flavor. Pretty minimal hop, but a nice alternative to the overly sweet German dark lagers. I like it, and I usually find lagers distasteful. Ratman197 (15632) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - FEB 6, 2012

Draft at Rhinehaus, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear orange-gold color, near the darker end of the spectrum, with a small off-white ring and film for a head. Notes of toasted malts, leafy hops, sugars, and straw - there isn’t much to this. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. Uinta has some of the most straightfoward offerings of any brewery that bottles and distributes widely - maybe it’s the 4% restriction? - and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. In this case, it works.
