COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This full-flavored amber lager delivers a complex, toasted malt body and noble hop character. Honey and caramel undercurrents. Vanilla accents. Malty with light and hoppy notes. Finishes dry. Yard Sale pairs well with earthy mushroom bisque, grilled lamb or pork, and even mussels and clams.
STORY
"Yard Sale" is skier slang for when a skier falls down on a slope and loses his gear which ends up scattered down the mountain.

Canned from Cost Plus. Bready malts up front. Very biscuit like flavorings. Lots of malts and a little bit of hops in the finish. Pretty boring. Overly malty sweet.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. The aroma is caramel, toast, slight berry. The flavor is caramel, toast, malty, rich. A nice easy drinking amber lager. Not an interesting beer to me.

Bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Pours a hazy amber with white head. Aroma is fruity, light nut, faint grain and faint malt. Flavor isn’t much different. Mouth feel is light body and watery. Nothing I would recommend.

Pours a slightly hazed orange golden color with off-white head. Spice, vanilla, and some malts on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with spice, vanilla, roast. Not bad.

Pretty mild beer. Watery malts, some straw flavor. Smooth and pretty forgettable.

Roastiness right off the bat, with some toasted caramel nuttiness, needs more hops and comes off a little unbalanced.

the beer is light cola sweet and somewhat earthy with a carbonation profile of half exhausted sodapop low alcohol volume is to be anticipated after tasting the brew it is a bit demonstrative but more so unremarkable sorry just not something someone with an interest or looking to develop an interest in beer would find memorable. slightly nutty... eehhh

Gusler (2653) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JAN 1, 2003
The pour is a deep amber to copper color, the head prestigious in size, creamy in texture, and the leftover lace a nice fine latticework to coat the glass. Mostly malt in the nose, lightly fruit sweet, fresh and clean to the senses, the start is full of malt, and lightly sweet, top middling in mouth feel. Finish is perkily acidic, the hops pleasant to the palate, dry aftertaste, and a quite drinkable beer and at 4% ABV, something that would make a nice session beer. Ranks #700 on my current 1000 beer master list.

Aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, bran muffins, wheat bread. Amber with an orange glow, and a mostly fading off-white head. Toasty and spicy with a subtle sweetness. Light-medium bodied.

12oz can pours a slightly hazy Amber with a large khaki head. Aroma of caraml malt and bready dough yeast. Taste of dry doughy bread yeast, lightly sweet caramel malt, and light hop. Not bad for an Amber Lager.
