This is an interesting red winter lager, yeasty and a bit of chocolate. Bottle pours a dark red-brown with a medium white head. Taste is nutty-malt and finishes almost like a light stout.
12 oz can at the Spring 2017 ASMF.
Clear copper colored body topped but a fine white head. Plenty of lacing.
Way more spicing in the complex nose than in the more bready flavor.
Medium-light body with lively carbonation.

Canned from Cost Plus. Bready malts up front. Very biscuit like flavorings. Lots of malts and a little bit of hops in the finish. Pretty boring. Overly malty sweet. rdixon77 (2761) - Georgia, USA - JAN 27, 2017
Pretty mild beer. Watery malts, some straw flavor. Smooth and pretty forgettable. rollinsr (703) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - JAN 13, 2017
Pours clear and copper with minor off-white head. Aroma is glass and that’s it. Flavor is watered down malts. No wows for this wubzy. Beerdedone (3390) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 31, 2016
Can. Pours copper amber with a short lived off-white head. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel and bread. Flavor of toasted caramel malts, bready tones, grains, vanilla and some light spices.

Good appearance, light-medium brown with big foamy head. Smells pretty neutral.. some slight malt. Taste is biscuit, soapy straw. Fairly smooth but weak. Strykzone (7300) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - NOV 2, 2016
12 ounces from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Amber and generally clear beer with an off white two finger head. Caramel and grain flavor and aroma. Noble hops bring a little sulfur. Just a little fruit. Not exciting but at 4% . . . hayduke (5187) - Eureka, California, USA - NOV 2, 2016
Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Poured translucent amber with dingy off-white head. Nose of Noble hops. Medium body. Smooth in the mouth. Malls dominate with hops ion the background. Something like coffee or chocolate is there as well. There is light bitter finish but mostly it just tails off. OK drinking but not very excising. jrodooo5 (1637) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - JUN 18, 2016
Pours transparent amber w/ out much of a head & little lacing. The aroma is relatively faint w/ some semi sweet malts coming through. The flavor is quite clean & nicely balanced. It’s not bursting in taste but it’s light, drinkable, & all around an ok beer! TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAR 7, 2016
Pours a slightly hazed orange golden color with off-white head. Spice, vanilla, and some malts on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with spice, vanilla, roast. Not bad.
