CLear golden coloured body with a white head and a few bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of alcohol, apples, pears, paint and a bit more alcohol - strong. Light-bodied; Deep strong alcohol and pungent bitter tastes with some light yeast, a touch of herbs and grass and a little hop taste. Aftertaste bitter and strong with a touch of sweetness, a little malt and a lot of alcohol tastes. Overall, not such a great beer, but not absolutely horrible. A bit bitter and a little too strong for the style, but nice to sample anyways! I sampled this 33 cL stubby bottle purchased from La Bier Tempel in Bruxelles, Belgium on 02-January-2011 for €2,50, sampled at my hotel room in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on 03-January-2011. goozen (4071) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - DEC 15, 2010
Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy golden coloured brew with an spicy sweety taste and it taste like an fluid bread or something. DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 5, 2010
Brassy gold with a strong white billow. Inviting, acetone-steeped apricot and peach on the snout with undercurrents of lime, chick pea and dung; more alcohol on the palate which fizzes like soda, nods at almond and cake, then dissipates into a boozy slush of bread, grass cuttings, overripe banana and unidentified, 5 day old xmas trifle fruits soaked in liqueur and Special Brew.

Bottle @ Willems, Belgium. Pours unclear golden with a large creamy egg white head and lacings. Nose is herbal and spicy. Makes me think of vomit. Flavor is dry and grainy. A bit of yeast and hops. Clean with a bit of warmth from alcohol. Lively carbonation. Cookie dough. Full bodied. Tasty. Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JAN 31, 2010
Bottle at home. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin, creamy white head that leaves some lacing. Complex fruity spicy citrus aroma with some clove and banana. Spicy bitter flavor, slightly sweet and a bit on the watery side. Well balanced. MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JAN 17, 2010
(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a big and dense cream-coloured foamy head. Yeasty, citrus-fruity and peppery hoppy aroma with strong spicy notes of coriander. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Pale and cara-malty taste with yeasty and hoppy fruity notes; quite dry and bitter finish with a light malty sweetness, slightly citric and floral hops and loads of coriander spice. A tad too spicy but nevertheless likeable Tripel. 15.I.10 JK54B (1602) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 29, 2008

330ml bottle (Janoinen Lohi, Helsinki, Belgian Weeks)
Bright orange. Fruity, but also sour aroma - lemon fresh? Almost urinal. Very sharp palate, carbonation high, and drying in the mouth. Leaves a very fruity hoppy finish. A little thin, but plenty of fruity esters. A touch of alcohol too, alas. A bit unbalanced.
