tderoeck (9656) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUN 30, 2012
26/VI/2012 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: V/13 (2012-655) Thanks to John for the bottle!

Clear blond beer, big creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet and fruity, bit sugary, some ripe banana. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet banana, bitter hops, green banana, bit sugary. Aftertaste: some spices, overripe banana, chemical bitterness. Not bad, but a pilsener? Weird man, weird.

suprchunk (2994) - Crestview, Florida, USA - NOV 21, 2011
Hazy light golden-straw colored pour. Small white head that quickly collapses to a thin layer of bubbles. Little bit of lacing. An old earthy aroma mixed with a sour maltiness. Carbonic. A sweet skunky flavor. Dry hops and a little bit of malt. Smooth and sweet finish with a bitterness. Not bad, but kind of like an old Pilsner Urquell.

Martinus (4601) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - MAY 23, 2011
Orange golden colour, white head. Slightly sweet aroma, some caramel, lots of malt, some touches of hops. Malty flavour, rather sweet, nice notes of bitter hops. Quite dry and hoppy finish. Nice one. (Old rating, 2008. Draught @ In de oude pruim, Beersel)

7th March 2010. Hazy gold beer. A little light white frothy head. Typical lagerish malt nose. Rich malt with a little caramel in there - turns fairly hoppy bitter for a Pils. Dry crisp finish with the malt turning creamy. Full flavoured Lager.

nate2g (1548) - Boomtown!, AUSTRALIA - APR 9, 2010
Bottle at Het Warm Water, Brussels. Shared amongst the London crew. Hazy golden with frothy white head that diminished. Very grainy on the nose. Hints of citrus and spicy hops but it’s all very subtle. Rough on the palate and gym locker funk in the finish. Tough to drink.

harrisoni (18577) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 29, 2010
From Het Warm Water in Brussels. Given how good the other Girardin beers are, this was a bit of a disappointment. Orange gold colour. Very cereal on aroma. Perfumed bitterness on finish. Don’t like the malts much or the finish.

Stefano (2007) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 14, 2010
Clear yellow color with a good lancing white head. Aroma is moderate malty and hay. Taste is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with an average duration. Dry finish.

Plovmand (8303) - Helsinge, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2010
Bottle. Hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is bready and light cereal. The flavour is grainy and cereal with some caramel and toffee. Bit weird.

tarjei (1954) - Bryne, NORWAY - FEB 9, 2010
25 cl bottle, tasted at Gjerrild kro in Denmark. Clear golden color, fine white head. Aroma is malty with fruit and hints of honey. Flavor is sweet malty, moderate bitterness and fruit with a touch of honey.

JoeinDahlem (1520) - Berlin, GERMANY - DEC 9, 2009
In a Girardin snifter at the Warm Water in Brussels. Hazy gold beer has a sweetish white-bread nose. Nice firm bitter taste with a dusty cereal sweetness. Lively and refreshing but more hop character would be welcome.
