UPDATED: SEP 12, 2005 Bottled. Cloudy dark brown, firm creamy head. Very herbal with lots of almond character and toffee. Sweet with soft mouthfeel. Flavourful with notes of spun sugar, fur needles and caramel. Low bitterness. Too sweet, but still very enjoyable with all the flavours it’s packed with. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 23, 2005

Bottle, at Plan B, Copenhagen. Fine spicy and oaky aroma, vinous notes. Flavour is spicy and VERY sweet. Would go well with Christmas cakes, I guess. duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 17, 2005
Bottle. Quite spicy, with lots of those christmas cake type flavours. Raisins, christmas spices. Quite a soft, yet sweet mouthfeel, some alcohol noticed in the finish. A little too sweet for me. joergen (27982) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2005
Cloudy red brown coloured with an off white head.
Sweet aroma with fruity notes.
Very sweet flavour with notes of fruits and bread. Mads Langtved (2243) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2005
Very syrupy and sweet. A good winter warmer. A bit too yeasty for my taste. A standard Belgian strong ale. Should not be served cool as they clain in the comercial description. aspidites (1272) - manteca, California, USA - APR 20, 2005
Roasted and burnt malts are evident. Caramelized candy sugar with a bit of prune. Spicy and mild pepper notes with a bit of liquorice. Nice mouthfeel with a slight backend astringency.
