2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2013 They have improve the appearance, it used to has lot of sediment. Has passion fruit aroma, couldn’t find the hops. Fruity and passion fruit flavor with a dry bitterness, and something like pungent aftertaste. It doesn’t remind me of an IPA at all. It is a very decent pale ale, very drinkable nowadays.
A lot of marketing strategy for a poor beer. That’s what I would say about it. When you look at the bottle, you’re thinking "might be worth it to open the bottle", but once you realize it has been like 10 minutes of foam coming right through the bottle, you’ll be regreting it. Appearance? My girlfriend said to me: it looks like castor bean soup or something!. Totally hazy yellow beer, that’s right. It’s completely disrecpectful to the great tradition of making an IPA.....
