Gold pour with creamy off white head and lace. Grapefruit dominates the aroma followed by caramel malt. Flat malt followed by a citrus bitter that transititions to a resiny hint and then back to citrus. Medium/light bodied with good carbonation. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 4, 2011
(Draught) hazy medium copper with lasting thick creamy tan head. Nose of citrus hops, syrupy, fresh oranges, grapefruit without the bitterness, and citrus zest. Taste of bread, crackers, light citrus, medium body and well carbonated. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - OCT 29, 2011
On tap at the brewpub.
The beer pours an amber color with a white head. The aroma is fairly hoppy. I get a lot of orange citrus notes, as well as a little bit of other tropical fruit, some grass and some biscuit malt.
The flavor is also nice and hoppy. I get some orange and pine notes, as well as some bread and a little bit of grass. Te alcohol is well hidden and the bitterness is low.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - MAY 1, 2011
Watery amber color. Almost opaque. Malty aroma. Bland grassy flavor with a bit of molasses. Good bite. Refreshingly bitter and a little gummy.
