(Draught) deep ruby-brown with ring of tan bubbles. Nose of brett, caramel, tart orange. Taste is just slightly tart, funky, watery, dark chocolate, no roastiness, berry, and a thin body with decent linger.

Tap at brewpub.
Pours black. Just black. Nose is oatmeal malt with toast. Flavor is bourboned oak and chocolate pudding. Thick on the tongue. Awesome beer.

On tap during the RateBeer Winter Gathering. The beer pours a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma has some roasted malt and chocolate, but what really comes through is the brett notes. They stand out and make this a beer with a unique aroma. The flavor is pretty much the same as the aroma. I get a lot of brett notes, but they are complimented by some roasted malt, a little chocolate, a touch of wood and some pine and dark fruit notes. Thin to medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

On tap at Uncle Billys during RBWG 2012. Pours a dark brown with a light beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is brett and oak. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hop and lingering sweet finish. Easy to drink a very good belgian ale from Uncle Billys.

2/25/12. On tap at the brewery during RBWG 2012. Very dark brown pour with a small tan head. Very nice aroma with plenty of brett character. Very nice flavor showing brett character as well - slightly sweet and slightly tart, almost like black cherries. Yum.
