Tried this on tap at the GABF in Denver, CO. A so-so IPA with a slight citrus aroma and taste, not as hoppy as I like my IPA's. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Served at GABF 2012 out of a pitcher. Nice hop aroma. It’s a decent IPA but nothing spectacular.

3.6
5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Bottle:   Amber, slight dirty haze, large pillowy white head, very nice lacing.   Somewhat of a barnish/musty hop nose.   Not bright, but has some slight citrus and pith aromas.   Having just had their Axe Handle Pale Ale, its a slight step above that.   Not terribly bitter, at least compared to other examples.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Soft pithy hop like finish.   Moderate example of an IPA, clean, and not overly bitter.   Becomes more pithy as it warms, also a slight strengthening of the citrus peel.   Enjoyable!   Thanks Bill!
