Near black pour with an off-white head. Nose is big time pumpkin, roasted malt, and some spices. Flavor is a bit thin but is a nice mix of roast, spice, chocolate, and pumpkin.
Black in color with a thick foamy light-khaki head. Aroma is detectable from a foot away from the glass. Lots of pumpkin pie spice and nutmeg, with a little pumpkin pie goo (or sweet potato). Flavor is nice and roasty with some sweet black malts, a touch of light molasses, nutmeg and pumpkin pie spices, on a dry finish with a touch of nutmeg and faint dark cocoa.
